The Cotswolds were magical! Such a wealth and variety of activities; the falconry experience and the sheep dog demonstration were a couple favorites, along with the beautiful gardens and the walks through the countryside along the Cotswold Way. The accommodations were quaint and lovely, and there was a good variety of food options, including great pub. I’ve gone on multiple Nat Hab trips, and once again, I was so impressed by the attention to detail and the professionalism of everyone involved.

This trip far exceeded my expectations, and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to see the parks with Nat Hab. The staff was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. It's very hard to pick a favorite part, but the river float really stood out. It was a spiritual experience. Thank you for a great adventure!

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities! The float down the Snake River was very scenic, and visiting the Murie homestead was like stepping back in time. The wolf biologist gave me insight into the controversies surrounding the wolf population in Yellowstone, and meeting Dan Hartman and seeing the work he does to enlighten the public about the great gray owl was really special. And, of course, I enjoyed seeing so many different species of wildlife, from bison to pika. The lodging was top-notch, the meals were outstanding, and we loved the comfy van that allowed everyone to have a window seat.

I booked this trip because of the name—Bear Camp—and it really lived up to it. The bears showed up! Our small group was great, as was our Expedition Leader and all the staff. The chef was especially creative, and I loved both his meals and his stories. Add to all that the wilderness and water and mountains, and you really took me to another world. Thank you!

How can you choose among all the superlatives? I came for the bucolic scenery, the walking and the history, and I was not disappointed. Having a background in forestry, the visit to Wytham Woods was definitely a highlight. All of the hotels were wonderful—a good mixture of the old and historic blended with all the modern conveniences.

I came to see bears and WOW...did I see bears! There were more bears than I expected, and we saw them at much closer range than I thought we would. The boat trip was also a great wildlife experience, especially spotting so many otters and puffins. I had been thinking about taking this trip for a couple of years, and it totally exceeded my expectations! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me. This was my fourth trip with Nat Hab, and all have been amazing experiences. Thank you for your expertise in planning that makes me look like such an adventure traveler!

The trip was so far above our expectations! The land safaris got us up close and personal with so many beautiful and majestic animals: lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, hyena, wild dogs, oryx, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, wart hogs, impalas, zebras, cape buffalo and many, many birds. The water activities were exhilarating as well—both the boat ride and the dugout canoes (mokoros). Of course, the highlight of the trip was watching a baby elephant being born and the jubilation and protection among the other elephants in the herd that followed. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who guided us, as well as the other guests. What an outstanding time we had!

I would recommend Nat Hab’s trips to anyone who wants to truly put their focus on wildlife or nature. There is no doubt that our amazing experience of seeing wolves was due to Nat Hab's collaboration with the wolf biologists and other resources in the park, which we would never have had access to on our own. I think what I appreciated the most was the flexibility; if something exciting was happening (like when we got to see a wolf make a kill!), we could stay and really take in the experience. I never felt that we were being rushed. I also liked that there were plenty of additional activities that we could opt in or out of, like the early morning geothermal hike, Oxbow Bend sunrise or later evening travertine terrace walk. And our Expedition Leaders were great about offering additional things for us to do if we were up for it.

Our Expedition Leader was a walking encyclopedia, as well as being very kind and personable. I can’t imagine anyone ever topping him as a guide! The people who work at the camps are amazing. In addition to all of the incredible animal sightings, dinner under the stars with the lanterns and campfire at Explorer Camp was especially memorable, and it was mostly because of the beautiful efforts of the staff. We hope to do more trips with Nat Hab to find another holy grail!

The itinerary for this trip was exactly what I hoped for. We had a good variety of activities, with safari drives and walks/hikes peppered throughout. The pace was just right—not too busy, but we still maximized the sightseeing. The wildlife viewing in Yellowstone was great, and the views of the Tetons were fabulous! I especially enjoyed the rafting trip on the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. Our Expedition Leader was full of energy and enthusiasm and shared so much information about the flora and fauna that we saw.
