Clearly money orientated-
After spending 3 weeks and £1.5k on emergency treatment for my dog (x ray, ultrasound, medication, blood tests etc) they still couldn’t find out what was wrong so booked me back in for another £750 scan.
Took my dog for a second opinion to a different vets and they identified the problem from the x-ray instantly as her heart was double the size it should be. Gave me treatment and my dog back to normal within 1 week.
Really can’t believe that it wasn’t diagnosed and treated straight away from the images they had of my dogs heart.

Really pleased with this Vets. Had to call at around 10PM when my cat started having trouble breathing for the first time ever and having been seemingly healthy.
After a quick few questions I was told I should bring her in immediately (which I did and I was very happy to do to make sure she was okay)
I was greeted immediately by Cristina the night vet and the lovely receptionist (feel bad I don’t remember your name but I was very stressed!)
Cristina was amazing and made me feel relieved that Pumpkin was getting great treatment and everything she needed, even though it was quite horrible and unexpected news. Currently waiting on a referred heart scan but the treatment and service was brilliant. It’s been a few days but pumpkin seems a lot brighter and more herself, which shows the combination of medications is helping.
Even had to call back today and speak to a different receptionist as my cat refused to eat her food which had her medication in, and they immediately issued me replacement tablets so that she would still have the correct amount. She couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful!
All in all, just genuinely lovely people and it feels like they really care and will do whatever is best for you and your pet. Thanks to everyone I’ve dealt with. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My initial encounter with this hospital was utterly dreadful. Not only did they mishandle the dosage for my severely ill dog after her discharge, but despite our repeated calls — a total of four times — to verify and express our concerns about the dosage accuracy, it was only on the fourth attempt that they bothered to thoroughly investigate.
In my frustration, I reached out to the hospital manager, hoping for some clarity and resolution. Regrettably, the response I received was disappointingly vague.

Stone Lion is a wonderful vet surgery. The staff are universally helpful and they love the animals that are brought in for their care and attention. The advice and guidance they offer is outstanding - the nurse helped me significantly with understanding the challenges I was facing with my new British Shorthair kitten, setting my mind at rest and giving me lots of confidence.
