Last year I spent 3.5 months studying at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Firenze - initially, I was planning to do only 4 weeks, but I had such an amazing experience that I extended my trip. The teachers and classroom experience were altogether personal and charming, and the program helped me find affordable housing. Already hoping to go back one day!

In planning for a new digital nomad experience in Italy, I’m starting by studying Italian language to advance my capabilities beyond my current level towards professional business communication. I have found this as the perfect school for this trip and future return visits. On this most recent trip, my instructor, Lorenzo, had a fun & easy learning approach that really helped me to reconnect with speaking, thinking, and overall interacting in Italian very quickly once again upon my return this past week. I’m so happy I found the school and highly recommend it.

I just finished a 2 week "Super Intensive 10" course here and was frankly blown away by my experience and cannot wait to return. The teachers I got to work with, Federico (group) and Simona (private 1-to-1), were absolutely exceptional. Very nice, empathetic people and fantastic teachers. The group for the morning classes itself was small (~11) and worked through a mix of vocabulary and grammar structure through a mix of teacher lead work, group work and ending with interactive games. The private sessions were easily the best investment I've made in my own language learning journey to date. Simona gave me the choice of what I wanted to focus on - which for me was focused solely on conversation - and we spent 1.5 hours every afternoon talking entirely in Italian through a very wide range of topics. The amount of growth I got through these sessions was unparalleled. I could not recommend Simona and these private sessions enough. The school and administration itself was great throughout. Getting booked was a breeze. I asked to be down-levelled for the course against the result from the enrolment test and was readily facilitated. They provide a thorough range of post-school activities to bolster one's immersion and get to know your classmates. 5* experience throughout. Another huge thanks to everyone at Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Firenze and I'm already looking forward to the next course.

I attended the course for three weeks. The school is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Duomo. The course is very satisfying, intensive, creative, includes work in a group, in a duet, independent work, acting, etc. During the three weeks, my knowledge of the language improved significantly, mostly in terms of vocabulary and verb tenses. Professor Marco was really excellent, very professional and energetic. He imparted knowledge to us in a very pleasant and creative way, well observed the "spirit" of the group and the character traits of each student individually, and excellently adjusted the lessons in such a way that through laughter improve our knowledge of the Italian language every day. Additionally, the school organized many extra activities every week, from various tourist offers, Italian films, pinella and wine, etc. Bravo for good organization and taking care of the free time of schools students :) Also, the scool staff is very helpfull for any inquirie (accommodation, prices, recommendations, etc.) I absolutely recommend this school, the experience is really wonderful ❤️

Wir hatten ein 2 wöchigen Kurs bei Sophie, super Lehrerin, haben viel gelernt. Die Schule ist in zentraler Lage direkt hinter dem Dom und empfehlenswert. Neben dem Lernen gibt es natürlich viel zu entdecken.

As a french person who had lessons of italian during a year at school, I decided to take a week there to continue learning during my holidays. It was a great decision, it allowed me to learn way faster and skills that are usually not really worked at at school (talking with eachother in italian, discussing some toppics but also having some "theory"). I recommend this, should it be for a week or more !

I’ve been going to scuola Leonardo Da Vinci for three years and honestly, it’s the best school I’ve ever been to. I’ve always felt like I was home and they really are like my second family. Thank you to all the wonderful teachers for teaching me so well. I also wanted to thank you my favourite teacher ( Carla), she is a star. She helped me so much with my studies and for my Italian exam which I was so stressed for. She is the best teacher in the world , I LOVE HER SO MUCH! !! She will always be in my heart , I’ll never forget her. And of course, thank you to my lovely Monica for always being there for me and teaching me history of arts , I’ll never forget what she taught me. You are a star Monica. Ho frequentato la scuola Leonardo Da Vinci per tre anni e onestamente, è la migliore scuola in cui sono andata . Mi sono sempre sentita a casa e siete veramente come una seconda famiglia per me. Great Italian school! I went from level A2 to B2 in a month, and got to meet so many interesting people from around the world in the process. The teachers were great, the class sizes were small, and the location was gorgeous. The school also set me up with a wonderful host to stay with, and the staff were so welcoming and kind. 10/10 recommend, I’d do it again in a heartbeat
