Easy to digest clips that are accompanied by a comprehensive textbook. The instructor Tanya feels more like a friend than a teacher, and explains math concepts clearly and efficiently. The visuals and tricks are really helpful for me to relearn some of the math basics that I will be using in winemaking. We do a lot of calculations along with stoichiometry, and I didn't want to enroll in a college math course for that bc it is way more $$ and more time consuming. This gave me quick tools to solve math problems within chemistry, especially with decimals fractions. Very approachable and I love the overall aesthetic. Makes it fun and not like work! She frames math as creative problem solving (which it is) and the practical examples shows you how useful it is to fully understand math. Also it's great to go at your own pace or I like to sneak a clip or two in before bed.

When I was looking for a job as a college senior, I came across interview opportunities to work as a trader but failed to catch them because my ability to perform quick mental math has turned rusty. I tried to read books on mental math but always lost interest to finish. I ended up working in another field that is also exciting, but a part of me still wondered what my life would have been like if I got the trader job. Last week I was given Tanya's course and am really drawn into her content. She makes math so interesting, and more importantly, she taught me what number sense is and now I am working on getting it up there. I’m gifting my brothers this course too so they can build a strong foundation in math AND have a good time learning it haha
