What a beautiful slice of country side this resides in. Recently purchased some honey and have enjoyed it in my herbal tea. The farm hand Patchen is super friendly! Highly recommend you support your local farmers!

Update to my previous post: this year we added a turkey to our order. While making biweekly trips to pick up eggs and produce from the new garden, we could see the turkeys roaming and thriving on Hungry Hollow pasture.I’ve ordered fresh, organic turkeys for years, but the HHF turkey far surpassed those in meat quality and quantity. We spatchcocked the turkey for roasting in oven and even the white meat was as moist and succulent as any I’ve seen. The verdict around the 7 people at the table was a unanimous “Best Ever!”. There was a bit of a scrum for turkey leftovers to take home. From kale and honey to eggs and meat, the quality at Hungry Hollow Farm is impeccable. All these farm products speak to the careful, strategic and sustainable farming methods Grant Jones employs.

Grant, we roasted a Hungry Hollow Farm chicken for our 2022 Thanksgiving dinner. It was the best ever! Our friends felt the same way. We made chicken stock from the carcass the next morning. Miles said, "this stock really smells good", much better than stock we have made before. Hopefully, there are a few more frozen chickens at the Farm Store for winter dinners. Thank you. Rox and Miles

Baked Chicken that Melts in your Mouth My just baked the frozen whole chicken we purchased from Hungry Hollow Farms recently. Not only was it incredibly tasty, but the meat seemed like it melted in our mouths. My wife has also baked “store bought” organic “free range” chicken, and the flavor and texture of Hungry Hollow chickens are far superior, and well worth the price. We visited the farm and made our decision to buy based on what we saw. The animals (including turkeys) had plenty of room to roam. As a side note, the vegetables we purchased while at the farm made a nice side dish to the delicious chicken.
