This review is for Dan St. Louis at Headshots Inc. Headshots Inc. is Dan’s business – he is the photographer. To cut to the summary: A results, experience, and value. Highest recommendation to reach out to Dan if you need headshots. You’d be shortchanging yourself not to consider using him. A few details: I needed a new headshot done during covid for my LinkedIn profile. After some online research to find someone in San Francisco, I chose Dan. So glad I did. I wanted an independent photographer since I was paying out of my own pocket – his reviews were great and he delivered on everything written. He was incredibly responsive via phone, text, & email to answer my up-front questions, and just as responsive after I decided to use him, which helped coordinate my shoot. The covid part is important, because I had a custom request: I wanted a studio look (i.e., solid backdrop), which is my personal preference for a corporate/ professional photo, but I preferred to do the shoot outside. I did not know what to expect or if this was possible. Dan accommodated me -- it was awesome. He selected an outdoor space near his studio in downtown SF, brought the equipment there (required substantial effort), duct-taped the backdrops to protect against wind, and we did the shoot. He gave great guidance on poses and how to have photos turn out best. On top of all this, Dan is a genuinely nice & positive guy, and fun to do the shoot with. Overall, he provided expert advice on how to make the shots turn out well for what I wanted (see attached), took great photos, set helpful expectations about how the session would go & timing of final steps for receiving/ touching up the photos, and was a pleasure to work with.
