I came with pictures of a haircut I’ve had many times before. Common, short haircut. She rushed through that conversation, glanced at pictures and then blasted through my hair. Way too short up top and boxy. Supercuts military vibe. Clear she was not paying much attention either to me or the haircut. Said she had a day full of haircuts which does explain the breakneck pace.

Anyone else notice all the 4-5 star reviews are from "local guides"? Maybe they are getting something for their stars? Most other - non-guide -
reviews find this place way over-priced for lack-luster cuts (the whole point you are there). Also note the owner responding only to positive reviews rather than attempt to address the repeated concerns.

Went in for a haircut and asked about a beard trim, the cut was decent. When it came time for the beard I was told, "let's see how much time we have", instead of getting a full trim, the girl spent about a minute hitting the flyaway hairs with a buzzer. That was $20 extra on top of the $42 cut, towel and shampoo. Should have went to a regular barbershop and then taken $40 out of my wallet and lit it on fire = same result.

The atmosphere is nice and so is the massage and all the little amenities but the haircut I got was simply rushed and not a good haircut .. I went there for a haircut not a massage, and left with a bad one for 50$ where I could have spent much less and gotten a much nicer snip down the road. The woman just seemed rushed and stressed and not interested in spending much time on my hair

Ordered a shaving product online, which specified free shipping. Upon placing the order the only option was to pick-up which is too far a drive. I called 3 times and all 3 times the assured me they would ship the product no charge, but it's been almost a month and still no delivery. Apologies Mensroom, but you can't be trusted.

1) Stylist had me late to my appointment at 7:30pm .. I was fine with it..
2) When I told her “let’s continue with clippers please for the sides”, her reply was: “well I asked you that in the beginning. We are closing at 8, come tomorrow” ..
Like what is this ? You are not doing me a favor , I’m paying for this service. I, as a client, can tell you how I want my hair to be done and I am free to change my mind halfway through the process.
3) she charged my credit card more .. in fact I’ll call tomorrow to ask my money back..

I had made an appointment for a cut. On my way to the appointment I received a call from the stylist that she would be 20 to 30 minutes late for my cut due to 2 customers flight into Portland running late. When I arrived a half hour later than my scheduled appt., I was told I would have to wait at least another hour or I could book another appt.. I drove a distance for the appointment, paid to park, experienced terrible customer service, and left without a hair cut. I have been a customer here for awhile, but that is over. This is not the first time to experience poor service. The other customers who were late for their service should of had to wait or rebook.

I placed a appointment for 630pm on a Monday and was double booked. I was called and told it would be another 15-20 minute wait after that at 6pm. The last thing I want to do is have to pay $40 plus be expected to tip for a rushed haircut. Thank you for waiting for the last possible moment to call too ensuring I wouldn't be able to go anywhere else. It was supposed to be my first time going there.

The place sounds great: beer, haircut, beard trim.
But the staff isn't well trained, waited an extra 15 minutes while they stood around and talked. Beer selection is garbage when located in a state that has and incredible amount of craft breweries. Who the hell wants piss water beer like PBR WHEN ALLAGASH BREWERY IS DOWN THE STREET!
I went to get my bear trimmed and they cut one side way to short compared to the other side.
