I bought my son some treats from this cafe for his birthday. He's not vegan but he has a bad allergy to dairy products. The cupcakes and cannoli were excellent and the staff was very nice. My son loved the treats and honestly I could not even tell they were vegan. Love this place!

Everything was fantastic. The maple oat latte and cheddar turnover were amazing, as were the McReeky sandwiches. The vegan cannoli such a rare find and was well worth the money! This is a must try if you’re visiting the area.

The food and coffee here is fantastic. I've been to Batter & Crumbs a few dozen times and I've been so happy with my orders. The owners are super invested in the business, and the male owner is a front of the house guy through and through. He's very friendly and personable, and he always his great recommendations. They outsource the sandwiches, which is such a smart idea! They can get you in and out quickly, plus the sandwiches are always delicious! (I always go for the Monte Cristo.)
Food businesses notoriously fail quickly, but Batter and Crumbs is killing it, even during COVID. I hope they keep thriving and stay in the neighborhood for years to come!

I moved to Philly at the beginning of 2021 and was delighted to find a vegan bakery so close to me. Now I'm there at least once a week and really enjoy trying the new drink and food specials. My recurring favorites are the cold brew with cold foam and an iced matcha with espresso. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!
