I just returned from an amazing Safari experience with Micato in Kenya and Tanzania. The entire trip from beginning to end was exceptional. Micato is the real deal and it's worth every penny paid. The level of luxury and the expert Safari guides are the best in the industry. Is a life changing trip and I feel that everyone should at least take one of this trips in their life. Go Micato!

No words can do justice to articulate the JOY and EASE the Micato experience is…. From the first planning phone call to the moment you step on the return flight home, Micato plans every minute with your comfort and happiness in mind. Our guide Raj was AMAZING so we were able to enjoy India in a multitude of ways with zero stress. The excitement of India overloads every one of your senses and Micato knows what to do and where to go to give you that once in a lifetime experience. Our family will always remember the lovely Indian people we met and the unique experiences we were able to share. Micato beautifully facilitated it all. After we visited Africa with Micato in 2023 we couldn’t wait to go to India with them!!! Needless to say, it was every bit as great as our African trip. BRAVO and MANY thanks to Micato!

Everything about this safari was seamless from start to finish. Having an escort (Peter was the best) throughout made everything so much easier. The lodges and game drives were beautiful and well thought out. Wilson at Elewana was amazing. I've been on safari before and was grateful that Micato included everything. Not having to worry about tipping the game drivers, our escort, or the different hotel teams made a great difference in the experience. I would definitely recommend Micato Safaris.

If you are of the mindset that "luxury is freedom from thought" - which I take to mean that everything, with the exception of what selection you will choose for this evening's dinner - is your stance on travel, then a Micato Safari has your name written all over it.
From the moment I landed at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, everything was taken care of for me by Micato's spectacular on-the-ground staff. I's were dotted, t's were crossed, and every detail was handled with precision and a gorgeous smile.
Our safari guide, Peter, accompanied our group from the minute we landed in Africa to the moment we returned to the airport for our flight back to the US. He quickly became a safari mentor and trusted friend.
I am still processing all of my beautiful memories and experiences on this 'Micato journey of a lifetime,' but one thing I know for certain is that I plan to return time and time again.

Micato is incredible! We recently returned from Micato’s Grand Safari….such an extraordinary travel experience! From the moment we arrived in Nairobi until our departure, the beautiful accommodations, exemplary service, and dedicated attention to every detail were all seamlessly perfect. Our safari director, Wesley, was the best - so knowledgeable, and available around the clock to handle any need, inquiry or request. The guides in each location were excellent - they knew the exact areas to take us so we’d see the most animals. All the meals were served in lovely settings, most times outdoors with candlelight, and the sundowners were a unique and welcomed surprise. We can’t say enough about Micato…. our experience was incredibly amazing…. one we will never forget!

I am back a little over two weeks from my enchanting trip to Kenya on a Micato Safari. It was an incredible experience. The check ins before the trip with email and social media postings coupled with gifts built up my excitement . This was the biggest adventure I ever undertook and it far outshone anything I could imagine. Every detail was taken care off . The staff were friendly and well prepared in making sure this “newbie” got the most out of the trip. The “surprises” left on my bed each night brought me delight and appreciation for the wonder this country offers. I felt safe and awed on the trip because of the care and knowledge provided by our guide and the drivers. No question was too unimportant , no request ignored. The Micato team is incredible , the Kenyans so hospitable and caring and the animals SHINE!

We just returned home from our first Micato Safari! We visited Kenya, Lewa and the Maasai Mara specifically! Wow! What a top notch experience! Micato took care of every detail… from the first phone call to Meg to the final drop off at the Nairobi airport (and every minute in between) we were treated like their most important clients! Meg planned a perfect safari for our family and helped us feel comfortable with a trip so out of our comfort zone! Our safari guide, Peter, was the BEST! He answered a million questions and taught us so much about the different areas. The accommodations were amazing, the food delicious, and the animals were beyond what we could have hoped for! Fantastic trip to India with Micato. The itinerary and accommodations were second to none. From pickup at the airport to drop off, this adventure was over the top. No detail was overlooked. Hotels magnificent, excursions great and guides beyond compare. Oh yes, can't forget the tigers. All this said, Micato is simply the best.

My wife and I first traveled with Micato Safaris in 2010 for a trip of a lifetime. We had intended for this to be our only trip to Africa. Well we returned to Africa in 2018 with Micato and here we go again! We leave next week for our third trip to Kenya with Micato Safaris. They are a first class company and treat everyone as family. Every little detail is taken care of throughout the trip. I cannot imagine that there is any better travel company.
