We had the experience of a lifetime on our recent bespoke trip to India. in March/April 2024. the Micato team curated a superb experience for us - we spent 2 1/2 weeks of fascination and pleasure. We travelled with Micato in Africa in early 2020, and we are already dreaming of our next trip.

We just returned from the “Soul of India” tour with Micato. It was an amazing experience. Micato treated us so well. We not only saw the most iconic sites, but also got to experience the sights and sounds of real India. We stayed in what are literally the best hotels in the world. Our guide Sanjay was terrific: kind, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. Our drivers were amazingly adept at navigating the incredibly chaotic traffic. Our favorite sights were the Taj Mahal (which you could also see from the balcony of our hotel room), the tigers of Ranthambore National Park (although watching one throttle a spotted deer was, while a rare event, a little graphic), and the sacred city of Varanasi.

My husband and I recently returned from Micato's Soul of India trip with a Bhutan extension. The entire trip was incredible- in the content, the accommodations and the personal service and attention of our tour director and guides. In India, Puneet, our tour director was remarkable with his knowledge and caring nature. In Bhutan, Tsewang, our guide and Geltsun, our driver, were extraordinary. We learned so much from all of them and cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they took of us. This was a trip of a lifetime and superb in every way. We want to go back to India and it will only be with Micato!

My wife Joan and I have fortunately been able to travel to many exotic locations throughout the world. Our travels were through several top companies in the travel industry. Recently we visited India and Bhutan with Micato. We now know just how fabulous it can be. India and Bhutan were spectacular, each in their own unique way. The experiences were meticulously crafted and flawlessly executed. Micato attended to every detail and made sure we travelled in luxury as we saw some of the most sought after sights in the world. We can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to our next trip in Africa with Micato.

We have been lucky enough to do two trips with Micato; an African safari and then more recently the Soul of India tour. Both
have been wonderful from the initial customer service and then throughout the whole tour experience. It is not only first rate
organisation and tour handling but there is always evidently a lot of care and love in what they do. We really can't think of any
aspect that could be improved. Simply exceptional!

We just returned from the Royal Palaces of India tour and can’t say enough good things about Micato. From the moment they met us at the airport, escorted us through customs and whisked us off to the Leela Palace to the moment they dropped us off at the airport in Delhi to catch our flight home we felt secure and safe in their care. Our tour director (Hem Singh) was exceptional! Truly the trip of a lifetime. What an adventure! I would say the highlight was seeing the Taj Mahal but the balloon flight, walking with the elephants, the jeep safari through the villages, the boat rides on the lake in Udaipur, cerebrating Holi and all the forts and palaces and the wonderful food and fellowship with Hem and our traveling companions was beyond amazing! So many wonderful memories!! Thank you!!!

Our Micato Soul of India trip was more incredible than we could have imagined. It was a true introduction to the soul of India. Our travel director, Puneet, was so knowledgeable, I feel we learned so much in such a short time. And of course, we were so pampered. The hotels were fabulous. We want to go back for sure and only with Micato. Our Bhutan extension was beyond words. Just tremendous. A special thank you to Marion Miller for all the planning you did for us. Our recent trip to India was the third time we have travelled with Micato Safaris. The first two safaris were to Africa during COVID. As with the first two tours, Micato handled our travel and arrangements flawlessly. From the first contact on the phone with their India Specialist Marion Miller to the last goodbye at the Delhi airport last week, no detail was overlooked. We took our 12-year-old grandchild with us, and everyone we worked with at Micato was sensitive to the need to mesh our desires with hers. Somehow, they pulled that off! Our tour director and guide Anwar Ali was absolutely excellent. Not only did he manage all the tours well, but his depth of knowledge about everything we saw and asked added immensely to our experience. He consistently sought opportunities to enhance our understanding of the life and culture of India. We cannot recommend this wonderful travel company highly enough! I wish there were 10 stars to give.

Our Israel/Jordan trip was cancelled due to the war and some friends recommended we contact Micato for a last minute alternative vacation. Wow, I have never been so blown away by a vacation trip! We were able to visit Tanzania and Rwanda (with a little time in Kenya) thanks to some finagling by Micato at the last minute. We never experienced any complications, anxiety or inconveniences despite the complexity of traveling between 3 countries in such a short period of time. The guides, drivers, trackers and porters were all fantastic. Everyone was genuinely friendly and accommodating. The facilities were among the best in the world (we have lived in 4 countries and traveled in dozens more). We'll be booking a trip to India with Micato after we reschedule our Israel/Jordan trip.

A Super Fantastic Trip of a lifetime! Micato Safaris is the best Safari outfitter company I have travelled with. From the minute we arrived in Jomo Kenyatta Airport until our departure 10 days later, we were well tucked into the Micato Safari travel bubble. Micato not only took care of all our land and flight arrangements, but also took the time to make us feel special every day. Their attention to detail is what separates them from others. All I had to remember was to take my passport out of the room safe and my phone charger out of the wall socket.
Travelling with a knowledgeable safari director (Dennis) made the world of difference. He brought the countries culture and traditions alive. He added layers of depth to our travel experience I could not have foreseen.
Our game viewing and activities arranged was spectacular. What was really nice was that were exposed to different areas with different wildlife altogether. Amboseli, Loisaba, Masái Mara made a lasting impression on all of us.
This company leaves no stone unturned. I look forward to booking another trip with Micato Safaris soon!

Our trip to India was the holiday of a lifetime. I cannot recommend Micato enough. From picking us up as we arrived at the gate to waving us off two weeks later our whole trip was absolutely seamless. Everything was planned and organized to perfection. Our guide Hem took care of every detail, he was extremely knowledgeable on multiple subject and he was a pleasure to spend time with.. He made every experience special. We felt very fortunate to have him as we were able to do things we would never have considered if we had been on our own. We truly felt that we were getting a very special insight into the real India. All be it just for two weeks. Micato planned our itinerary down to the smallest detail, including hot air ballooning, Bollywood dancing, spa experiences and temple kitchen visits, to name just a few things. We always felt that we were in very capable hands. Our car and driver were always there on time wherever we went always clean professional and safe.
Small extras that I wouldn’t want to mention so as not to spoil the surprise for future travelers added to the whole experience

Wonderful Experience! We took a private version of Royal Palaces of India with an extension to Varanasi. (Varanasi was the icing on the cake - well worth adding on.) All the sights and locations they selected for us were really great. All the hotels were beyond magnificent. Our guide, Rajdeep, was with us whenever we left the hotel so it was like having a knowledgeable friend show you around. And it made everything so easy and free from any hassles. Micato takes good care of you.

We enjoyed another fabulous trip with Micato, this time Rajasthan, India! Cannot recommend Micato enough - wonderful & knowledgeable guide and driver. The hotels are to die for, each one better than the next, and it’s clear Micato is well respected within the industry, as we were always treated to upgraded accommodations. They make you feel like Indian royalty!

Our trip to East Africa started with the very first point of contact, an invite to visit Kenya!
From here on in the excitement grew in leaps & bounds. Receiving the proposed itinerary, suggested reading material, guidelines on what to pack (I missed the part of what NOT to pack - the laundry services were on point at all our accommodations so there is no need to take everything you think you'll need)
The ease of applying online for the entry visa took away the anxiety that comes along with traveling to another country.
Our Safari Director, Denis Simi is a true gentleman, with outstanding knowledge, kindness and patience. He also had a fantastic sense of humour and kept us entertained with stories. But what will stay with me most is his attention to detail for each individual in our group, meeting & often exceeding each travellers wish or need. He kept us on schedule but never made us feel rushed. His calm disposition made us all feel relaxed.
Learning about Americashare & the Huru project broadened my horizons, Micato Safaris ensures their positive contributions to the lives of the youth are also experienced by their guests.
Last but not least was the great team work done by every person in the Micato Family.
Our time was nothing short of incredible with memories to last a lifetime!!!
My dream to visit Kenya came true and now I will return with friends & family so that they too, can feel, hear, see, taste & dance with a Masai Warrior - just like we did!

WOW! Returned from our Kenyan safari on 3/16/24. It was a fantastic trip. Philip Bet, our safari director, was the best. He said our safari was 8 out of 10 because we didn’t see a lion kill its prey. We did see them eating a zebra though. We saw so many other things, including the Big 5. For our first trip to Africa, I don’t think we could have asked for more. Micato provided many surprises, including breakfast in the bush and cocktails at sunset. We loved every moment. The trip ended with an enlightening visit to the Harambee Center in the Nairobi slum, to see the results of Micato’s education efforts.
