Wow! I had no idea what a great vacation this would be. Our Micato guides in Kenya were Denis and Peter and what a gift to us they were. This was a large family trip over Thanksgiving 2020 and it will go down as the best Thanksgiving ever. The staff at the camp even had a full-on Thankgiving meal prepared for us on that Thursday. The animals we saw, the experiences we had, the people who helped were all above expectations. I really loved this vacation.

Beyond expectation! What a wonderful trip with very impressive guides in all locations. Travel between locations was seamless. The safari was absolutely amazing. So many animals, such great people. Sammy was an exceptional guide for our week on safari. We have traveled the world and the Micato trip was by far our best trip.

I can't say enough about how great it was to travel on safari with Micato! Not only were they meticulous in planning our adventure, but they were even more outstanding in the manner in which we were treated while on safari. It is very evident that their corporate philosophy is to treat each customer with the utmost care and respect, and to provide only the very best in accommodations, food, and guidance. This was how we felt throughout our entire safari adventure. If I were to return to Africa for another safari, it will only be with Micato. I know I will receive the same consideration as I did on our recent safari adventure. Micato is, quite simply, the best!

Wonderful trip. Our Micato sales agent and safari director were excellent. The itinerary worked out great giving us a fantastic experience of three Kenyan national parks. The accommodations, food, game drives, transfers and attention to detail were all amazing. Highly recommend!!!

We had by far the most exhilarating trip.
Well looked after from the moment we landed at Nairobi.
Even before our trip, we were well informed and once we got there we were greeted by our experienced Safari director Denis who guided us every step of the way.
The accommodations were luxurious and comfortable. We felt right at home no matter where we were. Amboseli, Loisaba, Masái Mara made a lasting impression for us.

Travelling to India and Bhutan with Micato was incredible. Every detail was covered. From booking and thoughout the entire itinerary, not a detail was missed. This was our second travel experience with Micato and already planning our third!

Our group of nine ladies had an incredible time discovering Northern India with Micato, which did an exceptional job planning a top notch trip for us. Hem, our guide was the best of the best-and took care of everything for us. Hem is incredibly knowledgable and knows everyone. Plus he is the best dressed guide I ever had:) Lisa and Serena in Delhi and Marion in NYC planned an amazing trip that was magical. It was a trip of a lifetime, The colors, the food, the hotels and the sites and tours were all amazing. From searching for tigers, to sunrise at the Taj Mahal, to Jaipur, the elephant dinner, to Udaipur, it kept getting better and better. However, the people we met along the way, stand out as the best part of the experience. Everyone was kind, gracious, and service oriented, always greeting you with a smile. I can't wait to return to India with Micato!

We cannot say enough of our Micato Grand Safari. It was beyond all of our expectations. Meg Bufkin, our Safari Specialist in New York, worked tirelessly to make sure that all our questions about our trip were answered. She took care of all the pre-trip logistics and helped arrange for me to take all of my camera equipment. From the time we landed in Nairobi until we left 13 days later everything was first class. The accommodations were incredible providing comfort and luxury. The food was outstanding at each meal. The service at all of the camps was extraordinary. There wasn't a request that was not fulfilled. Our Safari Director, Rogers was with us from day one until he dropped us off at the airport at the end of the trip. He kept a watchful eye on of luggage and made sure it made it on the bush flights and also made it off the plane. Rogers knowledge of the different national parks and conservancys made our safari a great learning experience. He had a vast knowledge of not only the animals but also their behavior. He was a joy to be with and always had a smile to brighten our day. It was nice not to have to worry about tipping as this was included with Micato. You will not go wrong with choosing Micato for your next African Safari. Our trip was truly a trip of a lifetime. There is a reason there were awarded the best safari by Travel and Leisure Magazine for 10 years in a row.

The seamless travel within Kenya--from the guide-driven trucks to the chartered planes--made my first safari adventure easy and extremely enjoyable. The Micato people in Kenya that took care of us and the chosen tented camps' staffs get an A for knowledge of their specialty, whether it was food, drinks, lodging or game drives. Absolutely worth it!!

Our 10 day safari took us to 3 different camps in Kenya. All were excellent - the quintessential safari experience. The animal sitings were great, and all the guides were completely knowledgeable! The accommodations, meals, and hospitality made this a wonderful luxury experience. We were treated so well in every way!

I feel we have taken our travel to a whole new level. The service was 5star, nothing too much trouble & they preempted our needs. All done without a fuss. Our India trip was wonderful and exceeded expectations by far. We have traveled all over the world and done quite a bit of luxury travel but this company is the best by a long way

The Micro Safari was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. The pre departure information was well considered and thoughtful. The safari guide (Dennis) and driver guides were excellent at every location. The accommodations and food were absolutely exceptional. The pace of game drives and other activities was perfect. All in all an unforgettable holiday and surpassed all my expectations. Thanks Micato team!!! If you’re on the fence about your holiday, get off it and go!

Our group of more than 10 guests had an exceptional time over an eight-day safari with Micato in Kenya. Three parks/reserves and top-notch lodging gave us a wonderful experience that was at times otherworldly and exhilarating. I just returned from a 10 day vacation with Micato Safari's and it exceeded any expectation i could have imagined. The level of thought and detail that goes into their itineraries, the level of service and care throughout and the experience overall was incredible. The Safari Directors that are with you (Thanks Denis and Peter!) are the best, most knowledgeable guides you could have and made the experience that much more special. And during this particular time of covid travel, i was also incredibly appreciative and impressed by the additional measures put in place to ensure everyones safety all around. Would HIGHLY recommend Micato and can't wait until my next safari with them.

This was my fourth safari with Micato and they made it the best trip of my life (so far)! I travelled with friends and did a custom safari which was tailored to exactly what we wanted to see and do. From the time we landed in Nairobi, to the last day when we had to board the plane back home, it was the most relaxing, stress free and enjoyable vacation I have ever had. The Micato team thinks of everything - from suggesting what to pack, what not to pack (laundry service provided) - they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I can't say enough about our safari guides, they are true experts and were so gracious in sharing that knowledge with us. Aside from making sure we saw as many animals as possible; they also shared the traditions of the people of Kenya. I would highly recommend travelling with Micato!
