Cute little Portuguese bakery with egg tarts that are soooo yummy! We went early in the morning right by opening. Who I believe is either the owner or the owner’s mom was there and greeted with such a welcoming attitude. We never came here before and didn’t know much about her tarts. We have had authentic tarts before in Portugal years back (so delicious). So, she was kind enough to give us TWO free tarts as a sample. Super generous considering they sell one for three dollars each. It had just come out of the oven, so it was still nice and warm. The pie crust was super flaky, with a mild butter flavo. The custard was smooth, not too sweet. It was nice and creamy, with a slightly cinnamon and sugary addition from the powder she sprinkles on top. So good. We bought a dozen after that.
They bake it fresh throughout the day, and sell frozen ones too!
