I recently bought a 2021 Mustang Mach E from Motor Trends. I was very hesitant at first to pull the trigger on buying a used (even slightly as mine was) car from out of state. I am from MN. I worked with Mike, who was fantastic and answered all my questions. They sent me higg resolution videos of the car, inside and out, so there were no surprises upon shipping arrival.
I found that my car was missing the master reset code for the door lock keypad, something you need in order to access the vehicle without a key fob and before you're able to set up Phone as a Key feature. Typically this card is clipped to the owners manual but the mach E doesnt have a manual, it's all digital. So the card went missing somewhere in the first year of being driven. No worries though because Mike was able to track down the code for me, free of charge! My local dealership wanted to charge me $40 to simply type the VIN and press 'enter'. I also had a personal issue with the Mach E itsself.. there was a batch of 50k vehicles or so that had a faulty High voltage battery junction box put into them. My mach e fell within that build date. Ford wont replace under warranty until it breaks. If it breaks outside warranty, you're on the hook for $3k. Without hesitation, they sent the vehicle over to Ford to get the work done before delivery.
Michael in finance was super informative too. Nobody was pushy throughout the entire process.
I've read reviews on google for motor trends and everybody had wonderful things to say. They weren't wrong! 5 stars highly reccomend! I will definitely do business with them again in the future! Thanks guys!
