In a world where everyone is out to make top dollar, Motor Trend of Houston (specifically Ronell Ram) was out to make a friend and a satisfied customer. I flew into Houston from Oregon to purchase a used F-250. I arrived an hour before the store opened, but they showed up early and let me in. I didn’t have to haggle a price because after weeks of research I knew their pricing beat any competition nationwide. Before I arrived (and had a chance to test drive the F-250) they tested it and realized the ride wasn’t up to their high standards. They ate the price above what they originally offered it at and got it fixed before I arrived to make sure the vehicle was of the highest quality. After I purchased the truck “as is” with no warranty (due to age and miles) it continued to display similar characteristics to the issue they previously identified. When I called Ronell on my drive home, he immediately sent me to their trusted auto shop. Ronell told the shop I had a 35 hour drive home and asked to get me in immediately. A 10 hour job turned into 2 (after using multiple maintainers), and I was off driving the high quality truck the same day. Having already purchased the vehicle “as is” I asked the shop how much I owed for the additional maintenance. They said Motor Trend of Houston already picked up the bill. I am active duty military and have gone through way too many home and auto purchases throughout my 20 year career. Ronell Ram and Motor Trend of Houston went above and beyond to make this the most awarding purchase experience of my career. They continued to care for the me as the customer, and the product, even after the purchase was complete. Needless to say, the have gained the utmost respect of this happy customer. To Ronell Ram and Motor Tend of Houston,Keep doing what you are doing, and please don’t lose your good hearted nature! Oregon is a beautiful state, but she has lost her heart and soul, and it was good to feel some warmth again hear in the good ol’ state of Texas!-DP
