Dr.Tony Pikos was exceptionally patient and explained everything to me very clearly and thoroughly. After my initial consult, everything and all my options, medically and financially, were laid out for me so that I could construct a plan that fit my particular situation. Once I decided to move forward, it was finished before I knew it. I highly recommend Dr. Pilots and staff, especially if you have any anxieties about oral surgery. My experience at Coastal Jaw Surgery could not have been better. I postponed oral surgery for 18 months due to my concerns about the effects of taking XGEVA for two years. Dr. Anthony Pikos thoroughly researched the issue and candidly reviewed the risks of oral surgery vs risk of non-treatment. I opted for wakeful sedation and the procedure was flawless. I did not experience post-surgery pain or discomfort. The surgical site completely healed.

I am the biggest chicken when it comes to dentist (especially surgery)! I interviewed so many dentists for a plan of action. Dr. Pikos saw me several times and the treatment plan changed (mostly, because I was apprehensive and scared) he was so patient and gave me all my options. On surgery day he and his staff were so caring and made me feel comfortable. They always told me what they were going to do - before they did it! He did such a great job! I would definitely recommend! Especially, if you are scared and apprehensive about dentists!

Dr. Blundell and the entire staff were so nice! They really help make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I had all four wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and I'm already feeling much better today. They say peak swelling will happen on day 3, but I barely have any swelling today. I can't thank them enough for being so great! I usually get nervous easily, but I wasn't nervous with them at all!
