Sean O'Toole Duke Music was absolutely phenomenal at our wedding at Pier One Sydney Harbour on 29 March! They performed a beautiful acoustic set during canapés, setting the perfect tone for the evening, and then brought incredible energy to the reception, keeping the dance floor packed all night. So some background info, I was co-owner of a wedding photography company, and we attended an awards night at Doltone House back in 2014 or so. The band for the night was Duke Music, and the night was just amazing. Great tunes, and the dance floor was packed throughout the evening! a sign these guys know how to entertain! I remember thinking, if I ever get married, they are the band that will be performing! well, come 2023 and proposal all done, my fiancé and I reached out to Josie and confirmed that Duke was available for 27th January 2024! Phew!!! I’d recommend all others to get your bookings in early! They are SO worth it! We originally had Josie and Tim booked for a Duet, but after hearing Chris and his amazing vocals and Saxophone skills, we said he must be part of our wedding too!! Josie and Tim were amazing in the lead up to the wedding! They provided guidance on song choices via multiple spotify playlists (which I had no idea of) and now looking back, I can say every critical song choice we required was spot on!! Any questions we had, Josie and Tim were all over and this gave us the confidence to just relax knowing they had the tunes sorted for the day! Throughout our wedding, their professionalism and amazing skills ensured our guests were very well entertained! Our dance floor was packed throughout the evening (which is a sign they know how to hold a crowd on the dance floor) We received soo many compliments on Duke Music, and we couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding! We still are in a daze at how incredible Duke made our wedding day at Burnbrae in Mudgee, from Tim and Taylor creating heavenly acoustic tunes at our ceremony and canapes, to the rest of the team joining at the reception and creating a dancefloor that wouldn't stop! Karl Morton Duke Music are the absolute best. We opted in for the Duo DJ and had Jess and Tim perform for us on our wedding day and they were an absolute vibe. Previous to our wedding, communication with Tim and Josie was quick and painless and we never had any issues. We had a few phone calls and video chats with Tim leading up to the wedding, where we discussed our music selection and which songs we wanted to have played (Live and DJ). Tim was even able to source a few Spanish songs that we wanted for the night. As we had booked Duke during a time where the pandemic was on the rise, we didn’t get to attend any live performances beforehand but on the day of, it was well worth the wait. Jess and Tim helped to make our day an absolute dream, firstly with my processional song (Can’t Help Falling In Love – Elvis) which was performed beautifully and got a lot of our guests emotional (in a good way of course!). There was never a dull moment during our reception and their performance offered amazing ambience the entire night. For the dancing portion of the night, Tim setup his DJ equipment and used a playlist which included everything that we had asked him to play in our meetings before the wedding (no surprises!). The DJ-Ing was seamless and all our guests (some of which I’d never seen dance before in my life) were on the dance floor vibing and enjoying themselves. Our only regret is that we didn’t get to interact with Jess or Tim much through all the craziness of the night. We really appreciate your talent Jess and Tim. Thankyou for helping to make our wedding fabulous!

Kylie After many years of watching DUKE perform at various events, it was an absolute dream to have them entertain at our wedding. DUKE was an absolute standout on the day and we received such lovely compliments. From ceremony to reception, they created the perfect playlist and combination of songs that was thoroughly enjoyed by all but also complimented us to a tee!
