I am delighted to announce my collaboration with @google , to create sculptural entrances for its headquarters at the Googleplex. A series of three artworks named “MIRAGE” welcome people at each entrance. After five years of planning, the 60 meter long artwork of 100 vibrant colors became part of the landscape. “MIRAGE” expresses the essence of Google — a universe of infinite possibilities — which is inspired by the mathematical number, Googolplex. This is represented through an infinite number of overlapping zeros in 100 different shades of colors that appear to be floating in a three-dimensional grid, with vibrant colors that evoke joy, diversity, and unity. 100 colors no.52 “MIRAGE” for Google Google Headquarters Mountain View, CA (US) photos : Daisuke Shima #emmanuellemoureaux #100colors #zeros #Google #Googleplex #SiliconValley #Mountainviewcalifornia #エマニュエルムホー #100色 #ゼロ #グーグル #グーグルプレックス #シリコンバレー

100 colors no.44 for the newly opened Benjamin Moore flagship store in Seoul. Composed of randomly positioned cut out numbers floating in the space, the permanent installation expresses the infinity of colors. Although people can distinguish millions of colors, we usually do not realize that and limit colors to the rainbow colors. Nicknamed “one million”, the artwork is a message to feel and open our eyes to see more colors, to become more aware of the infinity of colors around us. 100 colors no.44 “one million” 2024 Benjamin Moore flagship store @benjaminmoorekorea Seoul (Korea) #emmanuellemoureaux #100colors #numbers #BenjaminMoore #paint #seoul #エマニュエルムホー #100色 #数字 #ベンジャミンムーア #ペイント #ソウル

Composed of 18000 woman’s silhouettes in 100 shades of colors, the “100 colors” installation “I am here” is an expression of non-stopping crowded street in Tokyo. Almost drowning inside the crowd, three silhouettes (two girls and a cat) are lost inside, which encourage visitors to search and spot them within. One can get drown in the same repeated days, becoming one of the people on the street. Just like looking for the “lost” silhouettes in the crowd, the installation is a reminder to rethink where you belong. 100 colors no.12 “I am here” 2016 Tokyo, London, York photo : Daisuke Shima #emmanuellemoureaux #100colors #Iamhere #AestheticaArtPrize #エマニュエルムホー #100色 #今ここにいるよ

Composed by 120,000 numeral figures from “0” to “9”, and a symbol “:”, the installation “COLOR OF TIME” superimposes the sensory element “color”, and the mathematical element “time”, to visualize and make one feel the flow of time. The first day of the exhibition, the sky of Toyama City on November 16, 2017. From the sunrise at 06:30, the color transitions through a total of 799 minutes, passing 18:11 astronomical twilight to 19:49, when the color disappears into blackness. This flow of time is perceived through the transitional journey through 100 shades of colors. 100 colors no.22 “COLOR OF TIME” 2017 Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design Toyama (Japan) photo : Daisuke Shima #emmanuellemoureaux #100colors #COLOROFTIME #エマニュエルムホー #100色 #富山県美術館

As the first “100 colors” outdoor installation, I have transformed the space in Shinjuku Central Park in Tokyo using full spectrum of floating colors. Having high rise buildings in the background, the 100 colored strands dance in the breeze, as if they are breathing in and out, creating a dynamic motion. The dye compounds were carefully blended to create the unique 100 colors formula, and all strands of textile were hand-dyed one by one. 100 colors are floating and swaying in the wind, coloring the breeze travelling in the city. 100 colors no.3 / Shinjuku Central Park 2014 Tokyo photo : Daisuke Shima #emmanuellemoureaux #100colors #shinjuku #エマニュエルムホー #100色 #新宿中央公園

Unveiled in 2013 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my studio, “100 colors” is an installation series which forms space using 100 shades of colors. I wish to give emotions through colors as I felt from seeing overflowing “layers of colors” in Tokyo when I first visited in 1995. I also wish to give opportunities for people to see, touch and feel colors with their all senses to become more conscious of colors that exist around us. In “100 colors”, colors are explored in various forms depending on the environment, to maximize the beauty of colors. 100 colors entering the body with a glance triggers a physical response to engage with the sensation of colors. The installation series will continue to travel around the world. 100 colors no.1 / Shinjuku Mitsui Building 2013 Tokyo photo : Daisuke Shima #emmanuellemoureaux #100colors #エマニュエルムホー #100色
