I had my wisdom teeth removed here and the experience was exceptional from start to finish! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. Dr. Tsai was professional and compassionate, taking time to explain the procedure in detail and answering all my questions. The actual removal was quicker and easier than I expected, and the recovery instructions were clear and helpful. I felt well cared for, and my post-op discomfort was minimal. If you're nervous about wisdom teeth removal, this is definitely the place to go.

I'd give more stars if I could, this place has been a lifesaver for my kid's dental work! Due to a rare neurological condition (Non-24 Sleep-Wake Disorder), it's difficult to schedule appointments far in advance. Light Dental Studios offers online scheduling and I've even been able to call and get same day appointments. This has made it so I'm able to choose a date/time when I know my kid will be awake. We've had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Opler and Dr. Kyle, who are both incredibly kind and dedicated. I'm shown in advance what insurance will cover and how much I can be expected to pay for each visit. Today I found out they have a payment plan if work needs to be done that may cost more than my budget allows. Everyone on the staff has been excellent and I highly recommend Light Dental Studios to anyone seeking a place that is willing to work with you at your comfort level.

Dr. Opler is a great dentist. He does everything from deep cleaning to Invisalign. No need to get a referral to another dentist or make a separate appointment for a Hygienist. Easy to get last minute appointments, and very clean office. Staff, especially, Amy, is super friendly and welcoming.

I've been looking for a great dentist for years and this place is honestly THE best! Every staff member are welcoming and truly makes you feel comfortable and at home. I have that weird phobia of dentists and the sound of drilling and they comfort me. It's very nice and technology innovative driven which is exactly what I was looking for.

This was the first time going to this dentist and he was extremely great! I didn't have as much pain as I thought I would have. And he made my experience there very pleasant!! I have a follow up next year and will definitely be going back!!!

I've been going to Light Dental in Burien for the past year and my only regret is not going sooner! Dr Opler and his assistant Kysla are professional and efficient. Unlike so many other dentist offices, I'm not kept waiting for extended periods of time. I recently had a couple fillings and cosmetic work done and they had me in and out in less than an hour. I cannot recommend more!

I was traveling back on a flight with my elderly mom and her tooth fell out. She was in critical need of dental care but the issue, common to many people, is that she doesn't like dentists! We had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Kyle and his assistant, Newal. They were fantastic!! Dr. Kyle had two of the characteristics that I look for in a medical professional -- technical expertise and a great bedside manner. When we asked questions, he would explain in layman terms and when he extracted my mom's teeth, he paused throughout to ask if she was feeling pressure vs. pain. I was on my toes, while my mom was perfectly calm...all thanks to Dr. Kyle. I followed up post-extraction with an email and got my questions asked and answered within 24 Horus. Dr. Kyle personally followed up on details that I asked for about her care. We now have a plan for my mom and I'm eternally grateful for the gentle care, clarity and extra special attention by Dr. Kyle. This dental office rocks because they care about their patients!! Highly recommend.

Dr Opler is great! Dental services here are always nothing short of amazing! If you have a child with autism, I highly recommend this place. Excellent with children and is the only place that’s been able to work on my child’s teeth without specialized appointments for sedation. We moved out of the area about a year ago, but gladly get up super early and take the ferry to continue care at this office. Very highly recommended!!

I fear nothing ... but the dentist. I'm a child of the 80s, when it was still ok to hit other people's kids. The principal had a paddle and the dentist, well, he wasn't kind either. Even as an adult, not only is dentistry difficult to navigate, I've still found them to be impatient and dismissive, among other things. Until today. The dentist and his staff are so kind and practice empathy. The dentist was gentle, he listened to me and was validating and he's doing what he can to save an important tooth, and for that that I'm greatful. He handed me a paper flower upon first meeting and that made my shoulders drop away from my ears from the tension leaving my body. In addition, the prices are kind and they're willing to work with my income, since my insurance doesn't think my teeth are worth saving and the only thing they'll pay for, is yanking them whenever they're is a problem. They're office is up to date, and they've been best in Burien for 8 years, which I find impressive. They seem to be a co-op of competent dentist, and I'm thankful for them.

I have a fear of going to the dentist that made me want to avoid getting work done for too long. Dr. Tsai and the whole team at light dental made my experience so seamless and pleasurable. Which is saying a lot considering how I normally feel about the dentist!

The team at light dental studios went above and beyond from the on-call dentist who took my call and assured me that the team would take good care of me. They showed a level of exemplar level of professionalism . Stephanie was able to confirm my insurance quickly to get me on their schedule. She also made me comfortable (her bedside manner was awesome)! Brooke's bedside manner put me at ease while taking xrays and reporting her findings quickly to Dr.Judy. Dr. Judy reassured me that she could help me if I ever needed dental care when she called me last November. The fact that she remembered the story of my tooth/situation was amazing. Her explanation of my procedure and the importance of it were clear concise . Her diligence and knowledge of her expertise were also "spot-on"!! She made absolute sure I was numb and didn't have any pain in addition to checking on me a few hours later and ordered me pain medication. Manu was very helpful at the end of the visit and making sure I was setup for my next visit. The whole team is very professional and work really well together which says a lot about those who choose healthcare. I'm looking forward to working with them to improve my dental health! 5 stars!!

When I first decided to switch dentists, I had NO IDEA where to go. So I did a bit of research, asked around, checked my insurance website - all the things a responsible person would do. Yet, in still, all signs pointed to “no clue”. One afternoon, while walking through the Tacoma Mall, I saw a big advertising poster in the main corner for Light Dental. I thought to myself, “well, don’t they all look happy? Such nice teeth on this group of Dental employees.” And my decision was born. Here is what I can say. I am not a very good dental patient. Dentists give me anxiety, I put off going, I need to drink a lot of water the whole time I’m there, and it’s just very stressful for me. I can honestly say that my experience with Light Dental has been the best out of my many decades of hanging out with dentists. From my first visit, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and assured, even though my treatment plan was relatively massive. Multiple crowns, multiple fillings, and all of the things that non-dental lovers avoid going to the dentist for. The employees at the front desk are wonderful to work with. They are ALWAYS happy to see me, have great conversation, and make me feel like I’m welcome. The office and the dental rooms are modern, comfortable, and very well-appointed. The hygienists do a wonderful job, as well. But my favorite part of my experience each time is, Dr. Judy. Here I am, nearly two years after my first visit, with a mouthful of beautiful teeth, and a smile that strangers comment on. And I owe it all to Dr. Judy. She is a master at her craft. I have never met a medical professional, who is more thorough, precise, and does whatever has to be done to ensure that she is getting it just right. And my teeth are a little bit tricky. I am super hard to numb, I have a particular bite, and I’m really fussy about my smile. One time I told her “that’s good enough” and she said, “we don’t do good enough dentistry here.” She Is committed to excellence every time, without fail. That gives me such peace of mind, because I know that things were done right the first time. Lord knows I don’t want to do more than I have to! On top of that, she is that perfect mix of interested and interesting conversation knowledge provision focusing on the task at hand. If you are in the market for a new dentist; you should skip past all of the tried and true research techniques I shared earlier. Just head to Light Dental and get in to Dr. Judy’s chair. You won’t regret it. Who knows - she may make a dental fan out of me yet.

I had a great experience at Light Dental Studios. Dr. Opler and all the staff were great. I have some dental anxiety and the team was VERY patient during my exam and cleaning. All very friendly people. Dr. Opler was great at explaining my dental health and recommendations as I wear braces. I have my next cleaning scheduled and looking forward to it.

The entire team are professional and authentically friendly from check-in to check-out. Dr. Opler is experienced, professional and friendly. He is very thorough and informative and proposes an honest assessment and plan without pressure. The facility is newly remodeled providing a comfortable environment with modern decor and relaxing music piped throughout. The dental furniture and equipment appear new and sterile. A full set of X-rays are taken in the same chair, no shuffling to a seperate room. Excellent overall experience.

Dr Tsai and his team are oral surgery rock stars! I had a tooth fracture on the Friday before the New Year’s weekend, exposing the nerve, which was extremely painful. Despite it being early evening, Dr. Tsai and his surgical assistant Jen stayed late (postponing their respective dinner plans) to extract the broken tooth. This was my second surgery by Dr Tsai, and just like the first time, it was performed flawlessly. I’m very grateful to be a patient of the Light Dental Studios group (Dr Smolke in Fircrest is my regular dentist, and he’s also superb!), and am happy to highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Thomas is great! I've been going to light dental studios for many years now but never really saw a consistent dentist there until recently. It's never been an issue but I prefer seeing the same person each time. I've seen Dr. Thomas several times now and have had a great experience each time! From Botox for jaw pain and my forehead to just a teeth cleaning . I've already recommended him to people I know. #rockstar
