We recently finished up a reno of my basement from basement builders, anytime I had a question the project manager (Ryan) was available and reached out to the appropriate teams to get it sorted out.
When the basement was almost finished, it was checked constantly for few issues we noted (scratches, re-do paint spots), and the finishing touches were done over a couple of days of just fixing minor things noted.
Thanks to the team to getting this from a unfinished concrete basement to a useable space!

I had drain issues at my place of business on a SUNDAY; 3 sinks were completely blocked and draino was not making a difference. Mr. Tang, the owner, came and snaked over 25 feet into the wall to clear the obstruction. He came right away, knowing my business needed working sinks for patrons. He made sure everything was clean and pristine before leaving. I’m so grateful as I know he took time out of his Sunday that he had been spending with family. You can trust this business. The owner’s interest to help, quality/completion of work and integrity are the highest I’ve experienced in 15 years of business.

We recently had our basement finished by Basement Builders, and overall we’re really happy with how everything turned out. We worked with two project managers, Murray and Ryan, and both were great throughout the entire process.
From the start, Murray set clear expectations about project timelines. He explained that after framing and plumbing there might be a few quiet days, which ended up being exactly right. The trades were all professional and came back at the right times to keep things moving. George, who handled framing, and the plumbing trades people were especially friendly and easy to work with. One thing that really stood out was when they replaced a window with a larger one, they restored everything outside (rocks, window well, etc.) exactly as it was before.
It was fun to see everything come together, especially the bathroom tile work, lighting, and fixtures. The electrical walkthrough was also very helpful, letting us add extra Cat6 drops and plan for future upgrades. The drywall and painting crews were quick and did a great job. When we had concerns during carpeting about floor traps, Murray and the team addressed it right away with a solid solution that blended in nicely. Chauntel’s final walkthrough was also appreciated—she caught a few things we missed and made sure they were fixed properly.
Even after the project was done, their support was solid. Ryan quickly arranged a fix for a handrail, and about a year later when we had a cracked tile, Murray came out, assessed it, and had it repaired properly without any issues.
Overall, Murray and Ryan were easy to communicate with and kept things running smoothly. The whole team clearly takes pride in their work. We’d definitely recommend Basement Builders to anyone looking for a well-done, high-quality basement renovation.

I am so glad we went with Basement Builders for our basement development, even my father in law is impressed by the build, and that never happens. We reached out to Basement Builder’s enquiring about the product so we could get it fixed, assuming it was our responsibility now, but they sent an electrician over and fixed our issue promptly. There are certainly cheaper avenues out there, but there was never a moment where we were concerned about the project's progress nor felt like we were required to step in and manage it.
