I would definitely use CampEasy again and recommend them to others! The whole booking process was very easy, great communication before we got there, we were collected from the airport and everything explained very well to us when we arrived. The camper vans come with an ipad which is useful for communicating with the company through the chat option and for checking roads, camping sites and weather apps. The heating system worked very well (and was necessary in April as it was still very cold at night).
I paid extra for the zero risk insurance, which we didn't need in the end, but I feel happier knowing we are covered.
Travelling around Iceland in a campervan is an excellent option as there is so much to see! The summer would be even better (the weather was still quite cold and windy in April) and so we'd like to go back! I'd use CampEasy again next time too.
We rented the VW transporter van which was a good size for 2 people (3 people would have been a bit of a squeeze).

We had a great experience with CampEasy that made our Iceland trip an amazing vacation. David was very helpful in describing everything before the trip, checking us in, and checking us out at the end. the van worked great, and we had no issues at all. The tablet that comes with the van is extremely helpful, we used it all the time, this alone was worth the experience with CampEasy. the reservation process is transparent, and everything was clear and straightforward. no complains at all. I would definitely recommend CampEasy to anyone who is planning a trip to Iceland.

We had an epic adventure in our Camp Easy van! The pickup process was simple (watch a few videos and talk to the staff, sign and drive!) Shout out to David (Dawid? Haha) for helping check us in and the check us out! We spent 9 days driving around the country in our Easy Clever 4x4. Next time we would probably upgrade to a bit larger one as it was cozy while sleeping (I’m 6ft tall and my wife is 5’8”) but everything else was great! It was very well appointed inside the van and easy to assemble the bed at night or couch during the day. We had a truly unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Wir hatten einen Easy fun und waren absolut zufrieden. Beeindruckend fanden wir die Heizung, die Batteriekapazität und das bordeigene WLan. Die Dieselheizung hat ordentlich warm gemacht und hatte noch gute Reserven. Die Spannung ist praktisch nicht abgefallen und das trotz des Ladens von Handys, Tablets, Drohne und Co. Wir hatten immer Internetzugang auch in den entlegenen Gebieten (entlang und abseits der A1).
Das Campeasy-Team war immer gut erreichbar und hat gut unterstützt. Das gelang per Chat über das vorhandene Tablet und auch per Email. Hier wurden wir freundlicher Weise vor einem Schneeeinbruch gewarnt und konnten entsprechend reagieren. Toll war an dieser Stelle auch, dass der Van gute Winterreifen mit ordentlichem Profil hatte.
Insgesamt würden wir wieder bei Campeasy buchen. Vielen Dank für die tollen Eindrücke. Wir kommen wieder!

We traveled around Iceland for the second time with CampEasy and it’s just so much fun! The camper gets so warm, even in cold nights and after a long day exploring a good sleep is guaranteed. There’s always the option to chat with someone over the tablet in the car and Flore and Lidia were very very helpful.
There is everything you need in the campers and it’s the most convenient way to explore the beautiful country. Thank you again & see you soon for the third time with CampEasy!

100% satisfaction. The staff were amazing – very kind and helpful. The car was in excellent condition, equipped with everything one needs. We really appreciated the tablet for communication with CampEasy as well as for tracking routes and weather. The Webasto heating was extremely useful – it worked perfectly throughout the night, and together with the LED lights, it created a very cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

5 Stars – Amazing Experience with Camp Easy Iceland!
We had a fantastic experience renting from Camp Easy in Iceland! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming, especially thanks to Lidia and Natalia. They were incredibly helpful and even worked with us through unexpected travel delays, which we really appreciated.
The camper was super comfortable and well-equipped. The bedding—especially the comforter and pillows—was cozy and warm, perfect after a long day of adventure. Once we set the bed up, we didn’t really use the table, but there was still plenty of space inside, even with my large suitcase.
The tablet that comes with the camper has the option for Wi-Fi, which is a great feature, but we didn’t end up using it since it has to stay on the charger in the van. I’d recommend picking up a portable Wi-Fi modem from the airport so you can stay connected even while hiking or exploring away from the vehicle.
We also found that you don’t need to run the heat all night—the camper warms up quickly and insulates well, which was a nice surprise. Camp Easy made sure we were well-prepared with all the basic kitchen necessities and great storage space.
Communication with the team was easy and seamless throughout the trip, and checkout was just as smooth as check-in—quick, friendly, and stress-free.
Highly recommend Camp Easy if you want a comfortable, well-thought-out way to explore Iceland!

I rented my Easy Ranger 4x4 camper van through CampEasy, and overall, it was a great experience. The check-in and return processes were straightforward, though they do take a bit of time. Communication with CampEasy during my trip was excellent, and they were always readily available if needed. The van itself was ideal for solo travel, offering just the right amount of space. However, I can't imagine comfortably fitting two people, especially during winter or colder months when more time is spent indoors. Still, the van provided good value, was reliable, and I experienced no mechanical issues throughout my journey. Highly recommend CampEasy for a solo Icelandic adventure!

I spent 17 days in Iceland, i did all island clockwise, westfjords included. We rent 2 easy viking 4x4, it was an incredible experience, it was our third time in Iceland with Camper Easy. The best in the Island. This time Dawid received us with a big small and a lot of details about the car and the country. He made the difference. We hope to back soon with more friend.
