Renting a camper van with Camp Easy was wonderful! Florentina and Natalie were thorough in their instructions and we felt confident using the van. It was easy to use and the perfect way to travel around Iceland. We would definitely use them again!

If you are looking for an economical campervan which is just the right size for two people, the EasyFun is the one for you. According to CampEasy it can also be used for three persons, but I would not recommend it. The kitchen corner was equipped with everything we needed and the seating area was easily converted to the comfy bed. The heating system was very much needed and appreciated as we had quite cold weather for early summer during our stay. The only small limitation was the fine tuning of the heating system. It got almost too warm very fast, and if we turned the heating slightly down, the warmth disappeared quickly. During the night, we turned if off completely, as we found it too warm (and too loud) with the heating on. WLAN worked perfectly, even in the most remote areas of the country. All in all, we loved the Easy Fun and would rent it again any time.

We hebben 17 dagen, met een Viking 4x4, IJsland rond gereden en reizen met een rolstoel wat best een uitdaging is. Het contact met Campeasy is top, ze zijn makkelijk te bereiken, reageren snel en denken mee. De camper bracht ons waar we wilden, is comfortabel en compleet, zelfs met de rolstoel erbij. We hebben genoten. Mochten we weer naar IJsland gaan komt de camper zeker van Campeasy. Een aanrader. Valentina, Szymon, Natalia, Nicole, bedankt voor alle hulp tijdens en vooraf van onze trip.

CampEasy made the entire process of our Iceland adventure: Easy! They explained all of the road and weather tips and rules before we embarked on our trip around Iceland. The camper (for myself and my wife) was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, too! Whenever we had questions, they were easy to get ahold and answer. Our trip was cut much too short due to a family emergency. We thought we would be out the money for the camper but CampEasy placed a hold on the remaining time we had on our rental timeframe. We will for sure return to Iceland to finish the journey we started, and we are very happy we chose CampEasy!

We were three travellers (ages 50-80) on a 1-week family holiday. We selected the Easy Big model. It had everything we needed: mini-fridge, 2 camping stoves, dishes, and - most importantly- a heater. Warming up after a hike, staying warm through the night, etc., the heater was essential. Not so much the camping table lawn chairs, mind you. Too windy and chilly to sit outdoors.
The upstairs bunk is great for kids and smaller, athletic adults as it does require a bit of gymnastics to get up & down (we scored perfect 10s on our climbing and dismounting routines).
The van was great on all roads, even the bumpier, narrower, more precipitous roads in (some parts of) the West Fjords.
Only advice: available add-on Camping Card has limited value. Lots of non-affiliated campsites everywhere. We ended up changing our travel plans many times over due to changing weather and road conditions. Really easy (and more stress-free, honestly), just to pick campsites based on how far we made it each day. If possible, try to find sites at/close to hot springs. So nice to go for a soak at the end of the day.
Don’t forget to download the Parka app to make it easier to pay for parking - AND campsites - throughout the country. The vans come with a wifi option - which is great when route-planning on Google maps - but we also recommend buying an Iceland SIM card at the airport ($20-$50 depending on GB and duration) so that you can receive texts from Parka and so you can call (if necessary) using a local #.

Excellent experience with this company. Everything was as advertised. This was our first time in Iceland, first time renting a car (van for 3 persons). The van was in perfect condition, ran really well. Everything worked great! Will definitely rent from them again! It was the best way to see the country.

Great experience. Rented Small Easy Manual for 1 week, end of May 24.
Cheapest smallest option, but worked surprisingly well. First night a bit of a learning curve, but then once we got organized and had a consistent place for things and a routine where I had my stuff accessible from the side slider and hubby from back doors, all went well. He is 6 feet and fit fine for sleeping after figuring out what worked best. Impressed how much fit in fridge, inside was about 18” x 12” x 12” deep. Kept very cold.
Drove around island 2400km including lots of gravel roads, about $350US for fuel at 3250 isk per litre. Drove quite well.
Pick up and return very easy.

Renting the Viking 4x4 campervan with CampEasy was a blast! The van was filled with all the essentials and I'd highly recommend booking with them. Don't think, plan a trip to Iceland and book with CampEasy and I promise you won't regret it.

Il s'est avéré rapidement que CampEasy semblait avoir le meilleur service et avoir satisfait le plus grand nombre d'utilisateurs.rices. Nous avons donc loué chez eux un super campervan version small et qu'est-que-nous-n'avons-pas-regretté!!!!! Nous sommes allées de bonne surprise en bonne surprise: adaptabilité malgré un retard de vol, victuailles, condiments, sacs poubelles, etc. à disposition pour bien commencer notre voyage, une tablette connectée qui fait que nous sommes jamais perdu.e... Je recommande les yeux fermés cette entreprise pour n'importe quel road trip en Islande! Ils sont parfaits!

L islande une beauté à couper le souffle.
Nous avons louer un van Wolkswagen transporter tout équipé chez Camp easy, une entreprise familiale dotée d une flotte de véhicules impressionnante.
L intérieur du van était isolé entièrement ce qui est rare, donc pas de condensation ni de sensation de froid la nuit.
Il était doté d un chauffage Webasto, d un evier avec une réserve d eau de 20 litres, de deux réchauds avec tous les ustensiles pour trois personnes, d un coin salon avec table et banquette transformable en couchage pour trois pour la nuit (pour 2 c est le top) très confortable durant ces trois semaines.

We loved our CampEasy van! We used it for 7 nights and it was perfect for the 3 of us that used it. One thing that really stood out from other van companies was our tires. We hit a really bad snow storm in the North and the tires were great - several of the other vans we saw had very small tires and looked unsafe. We returned the van out of office hours and the return was quick and easy. We had a few questions while we were out and they were quick to respond and help. If we come back, we will be getting another van from CampEasy!

Nous étions deux copines prêtes à parcourir l'Islande et ses routes magnifiques. Nous avons longuement hésité entre un campervan "normal" et une version 4x4. Après de moults lectures de guides, de blogs, etc, nous nous sommes rendues comptes que de toute façon, 4x4 ou pas 4x4, nous ne serions jamais assurées sur les F-roads. Nous avons donc décidées de rester raisonnables et de prendre la version classique, pour la route 1. Et nous nous en sommes félicitées!!!! Les F-roads sont impraticables de toute façon. Ou alors au prix de beaucoup de désagréments: 10/20km/h max, des vibrations dans les bras, du stress par rapport aux éventuels dégâts... Pas l'idéal pour un voyage d'agrément. Il vaut mieux laisser ça aux professionnels!En tout cas, ce campervan est un émerveillement d'ingéniosité et de praticité! Même avec de gros bagages, nous avons réussi à organiser une petite routine qui nous a permis de jouir au maximum de toutes ces fonctionnalités. Tout fonctionnait à merveille: le chauffage, les connectiques pour recharger tous les appareils éléctroniques, le gaz pour faire la cuisine, etc. Magique!

Vanessa, Florentina and Natalia were excellent to deal with. Pick up was efficient and they had me on the road in no time. Drop off was just as easy, in the time it took to have a cup of coffee they had my camper returned, checked and even refunded me for the extra driver that wasn’t required without me even asking. Everything in the camper worked as described.

Such a fantastic way to see Iceland, our van from Campeasy had everything we needed and was completely reliable for our whole trip. Having access to wifi and the iPad with any details we needed (weather, road conditions, nearby attractions) was really valuable.
