I have gone to this store since it was formerly known as the Bike Rack, and even more now that it is Trek Omaha West. They are, hands down, the best bicycle shop in town. I have called them with numerous questions on a variety of gear, purchased a new bike, got a smart bike trainer, got power meter pedals through them, got bike shoes, you name it.
Every associate I've talked to has had a plethora of knowledge - and if they didn't know something, they knew an associate who did. Everyone had their expertise. When I purchased my new bike, Paul helped me get settled on the Checkpoint ALR 5 and get all set up on the equipment I needed including what would and would not be compatible. He even made sure the Garmin Edge bike computer I purchased was installed with it correctly. When I purchased my Wahoo Kickr Core, Chris had the opportunity to upsell my onto the Wahoo Kickr (almost twice the price), but he knew that would have been way overkill for what I needed, and got me settled into the Kickr Core. Not only that, but he also made sure I had the right cassette needed to get it set up with the bike I purchased from there back in 2012, which wasn't even a Trek bike! Robb helped me get a great deal on some Garmin Rally power meter pedals when they were on sale and had them delivered to the store, and helped me decide between the single-sided power meter versus the double-sided.
If someone from Trek's corporate reads this, please know that this store is incredibly well managed, this store is a perfect example of what is being done right for retail, and as a customer I could not ask for a better experience. I know that I'm in good hands there, and I will continue to go back to this store for everything I need. I cannot more highly recommend a bike store than this one.
