I like and feel comfortable with Dr Opler

Great office and great staff

I was having a dental emergency on a Saturday and could not reach my personal dentist. Dr. Adam was recommended by a friend, and he kindly responded to my call, even patiently calling me back when I lost cell service. He enabled me to make it through the weekend until I could see my regular dentist on the following Monday, and I am so thankful!

Dr. Opler is phenomenal and genuinely the best experience I've had with a dentist office (33M). It's a modern studio with modern equipment and staff that have the knowledge to go with it. Cannot recommend enough!

I want to thank Dentist Kyle for his kindness, friendliness, gentle technique, and his outstanding skill displayed for my crown installation, replacement, fillings, and explaining so well to my wife Belinda as he progressed. We have been serviced by Light Dental studios in University Place, Puyallup, and Burien. All the staff have been cheerful, helpful professionals. Stephen D. Wingard, US Navy Chief, retired.

I'd give more stars if I could, this place has been a lifesaver for my kid's dental work! Due to a rare neurological condition (Non-24 Sleep-Wake Disorder), it's difficult to schedule appointments far in advance. Light Dental Studios offers online scheduling and I've even been able to call and get same day appointments. This has made it so I'm able to choose a date/time when I know my kid will be awake. We've had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Opler and Dr. Kyle, who are both incredibly kind and dedicated. I'm shown in advance what insurance will cover and how much I can be expected to pay for each visit. Today I found out they have a payment plan if work needs to be done that may cost more than my budget allows. Everyone on the staff has been excellent and I highly recommend Light Dental Studios to anyone seeking a place that is willing to work with you at your comfort level.

Dr. Opler is a great dentist. He does everything from deep cleaning to Invisalign. No need to get a referral to another dentist or make a separate appointment for a Hygienist. Easy to get last minute appointments, and very clean office. Staff, especially, Amy, is super friendly and welcoming.

I've been looking for a great dentist for years and this place is honestly THE best! Every staff member are welcoming and truly makes you feel comfortable and at home. I have that weird phobia of dentists and the sound of drilling and they comfort me. It's very nice and technology innovative driven which is exactly what I was looking for.

This was the first time going to this dentist and he was extremely great! I didn't have as much pain as I thought I would have. And he made my experience there very pleasant!! I have a follow up next year and will definitely be going back!!!

My Root Canal and permanent cap were a very good experience. Dr. Poyfair, Katherine, Morgan and Jenn were very professional and caring.

Hubby and I have been going to Dr. Adam Poyfair for 8 years or so. He and his staff are caring, Comforting, and knowledgeable. Dr. Poyfair always treats me with kid gloves and knows my extreme anxiety of dental procedures. Yesterday I had a tooth extraction with decay under the old Root Canal. While I squirmed, wiggled and screached both he and Arianna were very patient with me. I so appreciate this ❤️ wonderful staff . Thankyou all for being so attentive. Julie French

I've been going to Light Dental in Burien for the past year and my only regret is not going sooner! Dr Opler and his assistant Kysla are professional and efficient. Unlike so many other dentist offices, I'm not kept waiting for extended periods of time. I recently had a couple fillings and cosmetic work done and they had me in and out in less than an hour. I cannot recommend more!

Dr.Kyle was great! I have a lot of dental anxiety, and he came in cracking jokes, and being really fun. I made the whole experience a lot better.

Dr. Poyfair and staff were WONDERFUL! They were able to get me in on an emergency basis after my crown (placed years ago in another state) broke off. Everyone was so friendly, efficient, and professional. I've been back twice since that first visit and will continue to use this clinic from here on out.

Dr poyfair and Katherine did great. Broke a tooth this week Monday no pain I was able to go in Wed. He did a great job fixing my tooth, having to work with me and my Vertigo. NOT all Dr's like patience like that. He stopped every time I gave him a signal that my Vertigo Is kicking in. We took a breather till I was able to commence. I wasn't worried at all. Katherine was there telling him she is giving a signal. So they were a great team. She even agreed with me on going to get a chocolate shake. I did. Thank you two for making thus experience great. You know how much I hate dentist, due to vertigo. For my husband he was homeless 2 years before we met and kids clobbered him with skateboards. He lost 10 teeth and smokes marijuana so his teeth are not the greatest. Dr poyfair welcomed him with opened arms and made him feel comfortable and not embarrassed how his teeth looked. My husband hasn't seen a dentist in 17 years. He was ashamed how they look. Dr poyfair made him calm, relax. Gave him a smile that he would be ok. My husband said FINALLY. A DENTIST I LIKE THAT didn't make me feel like a loser. Thank you so much for the deep cleaning and making my husband calm. We will be back. To the people who read this my husband is 98% blind and the dr and his assistant who called him and took him back. They were ok having my husband put his hand on there shoulder for guidance.. some people would feel uncomfortable. Love you all . We will be back.... next month for part 2 of deep cleaning

Dr.Gollaher , Dr. Koby & Dr.Poyfair are all so informative and excellent ! Every visit I have had here has been a breeze .The assistants and front desk are always so wonderful as well. Glad I made the switch over to this office.

I was traveling back on a flight with my elderly mom and her tooth fell out. She was in critical need of dental care but the issue, common to many people, is that she doesn't like dentists! We had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Kyle and his assistant, Newal. They were fantastic!! Dr. Kyle had two of the characteristics that I look for in a medical professional -- technical expertise and a great bedside manner. When we asked questions, he would explain in layman terms and when he extracted my mom's teeth, he paused throughout to ask if she was feeling pressure vs. pain. I was on my toes, while my mom was perfectly calm...all thanks to Dr. Kyle. I followed up post-extraction with an email and got my questions asked and answered within 24 Horus. Dr. Kyle personally followed up on details that I asked for about her care. We now have a plan for my mom and I'm eternally grateful for the gentle care, clarity and extra special attention by Dr. Kyle. This dental office rocks because they care about their patients!! Highly recommend.

Dr Opler is great! Dental services here are always nothing short of amazing! If you have a child with autism, I highly recommend this place. Excellent with children and is the only place that’s been able to work on my child’s teeth without specialized appointments for sedation. We moved out of the area about a year ago, but gladly get up super early and take the ferry to continue care at this office. Very highly recommended!!

I fear nothing ... but the dentist. I'm a child of the 80s, when it was still ok to hit other people's kids. The principal had a paddle and the dentist, well, he wasn't kind either. Even as an adult, not only is dentistry difficult to navigate, I've still found them to be impatient and dismissive, among other things. Until today. The dentist and his staff are so kind and practice empathy. The dentist was gentle, he listened to me and was validating and he's doing what he can to save an important tooth, and for that that I'm greatful. He handed me a paper flower upon first meeting and that made my shoulders drop away from my ears from the tension leaving my body. In addition, the prices are kind and they're willing to work with my income, since my insurance doesn't think my teeth are worth saving and the only thing they'll pay for, is yanking them whenever they're is a problem. They're office is up to date, and they've been best in Burien for 8 years, which I find impressive. They seem to be a co-op of competent dentist, and I'm thankful for them.

I love going to Newal & Dr. Opler ! They always do a great job and are very quick and clean ! Great to feel comfortable at a dental office and everyone is very welcoming, Deoina at the front desk is great with appointments and always makes an effort to make changes if I need them! Newal is thorough in her cleanings and her and Dr. Opler made my fillings quick and easy!!

My front tooth chipped and a piece of it came out. I got right in to see Dr Kyle Chung in Burien!! He was wonderful and the procedure took under 45 minutes! Going to a dentist is difficult for me for a number of reasons and I always have a good experience here. The front desk team is kind and helpful, and all the hygienists are really good at what they do! Today I got to meet Dr. Kyle and he was extremely personable and explained everything well. **January 2024 The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. I came back for routine cleaning and fillings. I greatly appreciate the patient-centered care Dr. Opler and the support staff show. They are empathetic and compassionate and care to ensure the visit goes well and that I feel comfortable. He was extremely patient and answered all the questions I had about the process and visit. Thank you! _______________________________________________________________ I had my visit back in May. It had been a while since I had seen a dentist and searched for some local offices. I had a great experience at Light Dental Studios. Dr. Opler and all the staff were great. I have some dental anxiety and the team was VERY patient during my exam and cleaning. All very friendly people. Dr. Opler was great at explaining my dental health and recommendations as I wear braces. I have my next cleaning scheduled and looking forward to it.

The entire team are professional and authentically friendly from check-in to check-out. Dr. Opler is experienced, professional and friendly. He is very thorough and informative and proposes an honest assessment and plan without pressure. The facility is newly remodeled providing a comfortable environment with modern decor and relaxing music piped throughout. The dental furniture and equipment appear new and sterile. A full set of X-rays are taken in the same chair, no shuffling to a seperate room. Excellent overall experience.

Dr. Opler and the staff are great, very friendly and professional. First new dentist in 25 years and will be a patient here hopefully for the next 25. Had a new cap put in and you can't tell the difference between it and my real teeth, perfect color match.

Not one con to say about this Practice. Personally, going to the dentist has always been parallel to walking the green mile in my opinion. I am absolutely petrified, so I really have not done right by my teeth. That being said, Dr Koby, and the entire staff I had experience with...dealt with my shenanigans with surprising patience...and got me through my visits, without me having an entire meltdown.. ( and i am way to old to be like this) I absolutely love these people..as well as my outcome..why did I take so long to find you..

I have really loved my experiences here so far! Dr. Opler is super nice and thorough with his patient education. Front desk personnel is so smiley and friendly, and they worked fast with my insurance to get coverage estimates. And Keesha was a sweetheart. Highly recommend

Dr. Opler and the assistant for my most recent visit Kysla are awesome. Dr. Opler is consistently warm, easy to understand, and doesn't drag on the process longer than it needs to. I also want to shout out the front office staff, specifically Deiona, who is super easy to work with on scheduling. I had an issue come up that was going to impact my insurance recently and Deiona worked to get me in right away for some work I had coming up. The whole crew is great!

The staff and Dr. Opler are wonderful! I had an appointment that I forgot about and ended up being 30 minutes late. The plan originally was to perform filling two cavities at this appointment. Since I was late, I expected only one cavity to get filled, and come back for the second, along with capping two chipped teeth. The staff got me right in and Dr. Opler and his team performed everything I needed all in one visit. They were so fast, professional, and comfort was well maintained with numbness in place. They are awesome!! I definitely recommend anyone who needs dental care to come here.

I was really nervous going but the entire staff was helpful, kind and very fun to be around. I am so happy I found a place close by that feels so welcoming. All my questions answered and explanations given in detailed and easy to understand ways. I only hope more people find this hidden gem.

I am exceptionally pleased with the care I've received at this office! From the moment I walk in to the moment I leave, I am met with friendly staff. Before coming to this office, I hadn't been to a dentist in (embarrassingly) 20 years. Mostly because I didn't like the sounds and feelings of drills and such in my mouth. But it came to a point where it was in my best interest to go. I searched for a close office with good reviews and came across this one. I now understand why the reviews are so great! The front desk is always so welcoming, and Dr. Opler and his assistants are always so friendly and professional. Today, Dr. Opler gave me a filling with the assistance of Aida and I was admiring their professional relationship. If I had to guess, I would assume Aida was new to the office, but her level of professionalism completely masked that. As someone with medical industry experience myself, it made me smile (as much as I could with tools in my mouth) to see how Dr. Opler showed Aida the ropes if she was unclear about something. There was never any tension, only compassion. If I ever decided I wanted to be a dental assistant, I'd want to work with Dr. Opler and his staff. They made me love going to the dentist again!

Dr. Opler and his crew are amazing! This feels like a small family dental office from my childhood where everyone knew your name. In fact at first I didn't realize they were part of a chain, but it turns out that only gives them access to more resources like 3d imaging when needed. They are truly a team in Burien, working together, teaching, and creating the most pleasant dental office I have ever been in. Dr. Opler caught signs of several medical problems I was unaware of, and got me on the road to treatment for my blood pressure and sleep apnea. If you need a dentist, and are in or near Burien, this is the where you want to be.

A great experience. I am to Light Dental Studios because I have chipped teeth and went in very apprehensive - my last visit was 16 years ago. Dr. Opler and his staff are some of the nicest people I've encountered. Genuinely easy to get along with and reassuring, which I really appreciate. I'm committed to getting the rest of my dental work from them.
