I was absolutely blown away by the biodiversity of Peru. This was my first Nat Hab trip, and it was fantastic. Peru is an incredible place to visit, and my experience was greatly enhanced by my Expedition Leader’s vast knowledge, ability to manage any situation and constant dedication to our well-being.

The Delphin II was amazing! I especially enjoyed going out river dolphin spotting and bird watching—our guide’s enthusiasm for birds was truly infectious. I always felt safe, well-guided, provided for and attended to. Machu Picchu’s silent, magnificent presence left me with an image I will carry for the rest of my life. I still can’t quite believe I was actually there.

Our time in the Sacred Valley was a highlight, largely because of our Expedition Leader’s ability to take advantage of spontaneous opportunities, letting us experience daily life in Peru. The hike up Wayna Picchu was another incredible experience.

Staff always put safety first. Every meal was fabulous, accommodating my vegetarian diet well. I loved every aspect of the journey, but Machu Picchu was my favorite!

The mammals in the jungle, especially the monkeys and sloths, and Machu Picchu were highlights! Nat Hab's commitment to sustainability was evident.

Seeing the many animals we encountered was a joy. I was very impressed with the many conservation efforts that Nat Hab and the hotels and restaurants had implemented. I’d give our guide a 20 if I could; he was fun, passionate, knowledgeable and motivational. I would return to Nat Hab just to have him as a guide. The meals were excellent and I loved getting to try local ingredients and dishes!

Each of the three areas visited—Amazon, Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu—was amazing in its own way. I cannot imagine a better Expedition Leader—extraordinary knowledge, boundless energy, consummate problem solver and always enthusiastic.

We enjoyed seeing and experiencing the culture and environment off the beaten path! Our guide was the best we've ever had.

The hotels and Delfin II were all magnificent! Many memorable experiences occurred not just at Machu Picchu but in the Sacred Valley and the surrounding towns and hills. The visit to a local village in the Amazon was especially memorable.

Machu Picchu was obviously the highlight, but there were many other special moments such as the local market and special lunches. Thank you for a wonderful adventure. My wife and I have visited approximately ninety countries and thanks to you, this trip was definitely a highlight.

The highlights went beyond what we had expected. The local flavor in the Sacred Valley, including food and experiences such as weaving, short hikes, the market and the picnic in the fields, was enriching. We always felt safe. The transportation was smooth and timely, with wonderful drivers. It was so nice to be looked after in such a professional manner. The hike up Wayna Picchu was exceptional, but more generally, having such a congenial and like-minded group of individuals to share the experience with was invaluable.

Machu Picchu was a bucket list experience and I loved learning about the Inca. Fabulous accommodations!

I loved absolutely everything about this trip, especially having a wonderful guide. Being able to visit Machu Picchu and the Peruvian Amazon is an experience of a lifetime. This was my fifth trip with Nat Hab, and it was another wonderful and successful adventure. I highly recommend this travel company for the quality of services, five-star accommodations, gourmet dinners and the wonderful groups of people that join each adventure.

My favorite part was being able to have an incredible adventure with my grandson. Despite the 60-year age difference between us, we both had the time of our lives. I am grateful to Nat Hab for making this possible. Our Expedition Leader and the naturalists were superior.

Walking through the jungle and seeing wildlife all around was an unforgettable experience. Hiking Wayna Picchu and getting a spectacular view of Machu Picchu was amazing. Additionally, visiting farmers to learn about local foods and watching traditional weaving techniques were fascinating.

The Amazon was wonderful, as was the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The ruins left by the Incas, the stones built without mortar and the extensive Inca trails were awe-inspiring.

The accommodations, meals and logistics planning were all first-rate. Everything was planned to perfection. This was our seventh Nat Hab trip, and I always feel not so much like a tourist but like an honored guest invited by a long-lost friend to share the beauty and excitement of their country and culture. The variety and diversity of experiences, as well as the attentiveness and organization of the staff, were exceptional. We spent three and a half days on the rivers on the beautiful Delphin II, took small boats out for numerous adventures, went on kayaks in a small tributary and spent time in the mountains. Our guide knew the best times to see Machu Picchu in the right lighting and still avoid the crowds.
