I inherited my father‘s eyebrows or rather his eyebrow, because he only has one, as do I. And that's why I flew from Arizona to California to get my face tattooed. During my first visit I was lucky enough to arrive in time to talk to a previous client of Nicole’s. She was very happy and that put me at ease.\
THE PROCEDURE: First, you have a consultation. Then Nicole drew some brows on my face; I wasn‘t sure if I liked them right away so she redrew them, I still wasn‘t sure so she made more edits.etc-etc..until I was really happy with them. She has the patience of an angel. Then she numbed my brows, we picked a color and began. The procedure didn't hurt. It felt slightly uncomfortable at times, like scratching, but It wasn't at all bad.
AFTERCARE: She gave me a nice aftercare kit which was fun to get. It had everything I needed and the instructions were clear.1. The first day I was given cotton rounds to blot my brows every couple of hours until I went to sleep2. For the first week I was given a cleanser to wash my brows morning and night. Then in the evening I applied a cream.3. I was to avoid putting makeup on my brows, sweating, swimming and picking at my brows for 10 days
POST SESSION 1: Right after the procedure I was obsessed with my brows.Over the next several days the color got slightly darker which I was told would happen and that it was temporary. The scabs started to flake pretty quickly but the scabs appeared to take the color too. If this happens to you don't worry! Nicole told me that the brows go through a very light looking phase after the scabs have come off and she said the color would "bloom' (come back). After the scabs fell off and when my brows healed, the color did Indeed bloom.SESSION 2During session 2 Nicole was able to make my brows more dense by adding more hair strokes. My healing process after the second session was the same as the first though less Intense as she did less work.
BOTTOMLINE: It is a lot of money to me but if they last a couple of years it‘s completely worth it. I would never have the time or patience to get the shape this perfect. It's so fun to take a shower and to wake in the morning with eyebrows. I feel free. Would I do it again? Yes. If I lived in California I would see Nicole again without hesitation. In fact, I can see myself flying back when the time is right. I trust her. She has talent and she is kind. Her office is booming even though she does very little advertising and that says a lot.
