The crew arrived on time and work tirelessly each day. They kept it neat and tidy.The supervisor came by to explain where they needed to replace plywood and to make sure I was pleased with the work. I was concerned about my dog going outside during the process. They made an effort everyday to pick up all the debris that could harm her.

We called them to schedule an inspection. Brad came over the next day. He was informative and kept it short and simple and straight to the point. He didn’t try to force our hand at buying the expensive product. What he quoted us there was no hidden fees or extra charges once we agreed. I had a great experience working with Bates Roofing and wanted to share this review to help others make an informed decision on who to hire for their next roof installation and/or repair needs. My roof was 25 years old and showing its age as pieces of asphalt shingles were routinely falling to the ground following minor wind storms. A good friend referred me to Bates Roofing so I called them first. Dwayne came to my home, he was professional, he asked a lot of questions and he performed a thorough inspection that included viewing the roof deck from the underside in my attic. I received his detailed quote by the end of the day and he responded to all of my open questions. I was surprised by the amount of Dwayne's quote as this was the first time I had requested quotes for a new roof. So I contacted 4 more roofing companies for comparison purposes and was shocked by the range of quotes as well as the relative lack of professionalism displayed by some of the other company's representatives. Bates Roofing came in with the lowest bid and did so in a way that eliminated my concern for potential change orders by including enough plywood to re-deck my entire roof in their quote. In comparison, one of the roofing companies quoted a price that was twice as much as Bates and 3 of the 4 notified me there would be additional change orders required if they needed to install plywood decking once the old shingles were torn off. I elected to move forward with Bates Roofing because their quote was comprehensive and I was very pleased with the work performed. Their team worked quickly and professionally and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves when the project was complete. I strongly encourage anyone needing roofing installation or repair services to call Bates Roofing first!
