Our journey with Bates
1. In 2019 we called Bates about a leaking skylight. Their extremely knowledgeable sales person looked at the roof put a little bit of caulk in a trouble spot, and made a longer term recommendation. Having just purchased the house we couldn't move forward however were really grateful for that initial act of caulking. It probably took him two minutes and he was already up there for the initial assessment. That said not companies would not charge here. That really stuck with us
2. Fast forward to 2022 our roof needed replacing. Their bid was competitive and because of our experience with 2019 it was pretty much a no brainer. Crew that replaced our roof was fantastic, and efficient. Bates could have upsold us in a couple areas and they just didn't what they did is patiently answered my questions and I opted to upgrade to fully replace our skylights and then to contract them separately to replace our gutters

Bates Roofing did a great job on replacing the roof on our house. From the time the sales rep (Brad) came to the house to inspect and provide a quote for the work to the time the last piece of debris was picked up from the yard, everyone involved were professional, courteous and on-time.
Once we accepted the quote, Brad kept us informed of the process, the estimated time to get the materials and scheduling the work. The crew was very considerate of protecting the vegetation around our house and did a great job of cleaning everything up after they were done. The roof looks awesome and have gotten multiple complements from my neighbors.

Contacted Bates Roofing to flash an air conditioning stand and a 3" pipe that installed through the roof next to the stand. The roof was flat with a PVC roofing type material. As an HVAC contractor I've learned to have things like this installed by the people that do it all the time. They did a great job and will call them again when needed.

When we decided to replace our roof we contacted 6 different roofing contractors to offer us bids. Bates was very quick to come out and offer their services. Salesman stated he was going to be out of town for a few days and would get back to me the following week. Instead of waiting he took the time to provide me a bid the next morning. His good/better/best estimate was one of a kind. Most of the other bids I received were considerably higher with the salespeople defending their pricing blaming it on the pandemic. I did not get excuses from bates. I received a competitive bid from a reputable company that delivered on service and communication that exceeded our expectations. From the salesman to the last employee on site I was thanked for the business and the opportunity that I gave them. They moved any outdoor items that may have been in the way, they left the job site immaculate. It took them 2 days for our larger project in the heat, really it should have taken longer but they stayed until it was done. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them again.

We had a new fireplace installed and needed someone who worked with tile roofs. We thought the fireplace company was going to also take care of scheduling the roofing company but didn’t. We were in a crunch. I called a number of place and they were either too busy or it would be a number of weeks before they could get to us. I called Bates on a Wednesday, Joe came and checked out the job on Friday. We were able to schedule the roofing crew to be at our place the same time as the fireplace crew the following week. The roofing crew showed up on time, got the new stack installed and took care of a leak that was found. They were quick and professional. Overall I was pleased with the work performed by this company and the price they offered. Brad and Joe where a pleasure to work with. The crew worked around bad weather and late into the evening to make sure the roof installation was completed before the rain came. I noticed that my sky lights may not have been seated properly when the workers completed. I called Joe the next morning to let him know and he personally came out with a worker that day to make sure it was corrected. The gutter crew was fast as and thorough. I'm happy with the results.

Your crew did an excellent job of replacing my gutters and downspouts. The quality of both the materials used and the skill of the installers, was outstanding. While reviewing the job for an estimate, Brad suggested installing fascia boards behind the gutters, which had never been installed before. Even though it was an added cost, it was an excellent recommendation that resulted in a much sturdier product. I would certainly recommend Bates Roofing without hesitation.

Bates Roofing was amazing. We really appreciated the attention to detail that Brad put into the estimate. We originally had them come out to look at a leak. He took the time to look in the attic etc. to hone in on what was causing the leak, before automatically saying we needed a new roof. Turns out we did need a new roof. We chose Bates because they had very competitive pricing, and great financing options. The team came out and put a temporary tarp on the roof to prevent further damage till they could come out and do the roof. They did the roof in nearly one day! They had one guy come out the next day for like an hour to wrap up a couple things. Quite impressive! The team was very respectful, friendly, and cleaned up really well at the end of the project! We had one little scheduling snafu, but it was totally understandable. And Kelsey was on top of all the communication with us throughout the process. We highly recommend Bates Roofing!

I was beyond impressed with the fine folks over at Bates Roofing. My roof was a mess & I had indoor waterfalls. Plus I have solar panels that needed to be removed & reinstalled after the new roof was installed. Which was a feat all in itself. Brad, Joe & Kelsey walked me thru the entire process & addressed all of my "problem" areas on my roof & with the financing. Their team did an amazing job & put a stop to all of my leaks & the roof looks beautiful! The company they hired for my solar panels was amazing too! They even reconfigured the panels on my roof to make them run better than before. I would highly recommend Bates Roofing for your roofing needs. They knocked it outta the park & took the stress from worrying about any leaks with it & I couldnt be happier.
