The service was top-notch for my local move and storage. Steve took the time to go over the estimate and explain the whole process, so there were no surprises. Bonnie was awesome in the office, answering all my questions before the move, and then checking in during the move to make sure everything was going smoothly. Carlos and Gustavo were fantastic to work with, too, they were super knowledgeable and treated our furniture with care. It’s clear the company hires really quality people, and I really enjoyed working with them.

Packing team wasn’t the best, only one of them spoke English, so communication was a bit tricky at times, but we managed. However, the unpacking team was absolutely perfect! I’ve been through relocations a few times, but this crew of unpackers was hands-down the best my family has ever had. They were fast, courteous, and honestly hilarious! They really lightened the mood during a stressful time. Huge thanks to them, they truly made a difference!

The morning of the move, they actually called to make sure I was ready. Not late, not confused, they just checked in, which was nice. Then they showed up at 9:00 exactly, no guessing. They were super friendly and didn’t make me feel like I had to help or rush. They even gave me a guess on how long the move would take, and they were pretty much spot on. We had to stop by another spot on the way, but they didn’t complain once. I’ve already told my friends about them.

Huge shoutout to Chris Cartwright and his team. Chris kept me in the loop the entire time and personally handled most of the packing. This wasn’t a small move either: a 3,400 sq ft house packed up and moved 400 miles. By Friday at noon, we were already 75% unpacked in the new place. I’ve moved a lot, but never this efficiently. If you want a move that feels surprisingly easy, go with Chris and his crew.

They were fast and efficient when it came to loading our stuff but if something goes wrong, don’t expect much support. We had a major issue with the shipment being severely underestimated, and when the truck filled up way too early, the driver was visibly stressed. We ended up leaving a bunch of our belongings behind. The worst part? No one from City Moving would answer the phone not for us, not for the trucking company. We were basically on our own to figure everything out. Definitely a rough experience.
