I’ve moved antique furniture before, but nothing as delicate as my grandmother’s china cabinet and mahogany dining set. The movers were seriously on point, every single piece was wrapped in blankets, shrink-wrapped, and handled like fine china. My new home is on a hillside, so getting everything up to the second floor was a challenge. But the team didn’t even flinch. They hoisted my large sectional sofa through a window (because the stairs couldn’t fit it), and not a single scratch on anything. Overall, my moving experience was excellent. The team kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, answered all of my questions, and provided all the necessary documents in a timely manner. Even though there was a bit of a delay getting my things to Florida, they stayed in constant contact with me and made sure I felt informed every step of the way. I’m still finishing up unpacking, and there are a couple of minor issues to address with some possible breakage and a missing item, but I’m in the process of filing claims, and I know the company will handle it professionally. From the first phone call with Arlene, I could tell City Moving had their act together. I had this weird moving situation with stuff going to a new apartment, other things going to storage, and then picking up some big furniture from storage to bring to the apartment. Arlene explained the whole process clearly and even gave me an estimate with three guys and three hours. She was upfront about what could happen if we went over the time.
