As first-time sellers, we were initially intimidated by the process. Our “To Do” lists read like a Game of Thrones novel. This was before we called Jody Geany.
Joday has been an absolute delight to work with. her professionalism was very consistent. She was always on time for appointments and provided reliable advice. Her reliability was crucial during various stages of the process, ensuring a smooth transaction.
Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of selling a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested as well in selling our home, having someone who properly set, managed, and came through with: expectations was such a lifesaver and made me feel so at ease throughout the entire process. And on a related note, as a first-time home seller, I’m not sure what to expect, what’s good/bad, etc., and Jody was always so candid and provided her own perspective of different aspects that she thought would be relevant to my decision making based on what she had learned about me. I truly appreciated her input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it, but, IMO, it is crucial to keep those around that do. It’s easy to push paper and get the signatures, but Jody is really focused on making sure people are satisfied through the process and with the outcome. Again, for a first-time home seller, this process is very stressful. Yes, there are a number of things that people can do to make it easier. But as you can see, based on the above, Jody Geany went above and beyond (as I’m positive she does with all of her clients) and truly made me feel like I had a confidant/partner throughout.
