I stopped in just to look around, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even knowing I was just looking and likely not buying anything. I will stop again.

This is the place to go if you need a bike or service. I’m pretty sure the manager is one of the nicest people I’ve ever dealt with in retail or service. We have purchased multiple bikes from this location and had our bikes worked on many times and it’s always been a great experience

"Brandon: The Rear Derailleur Whisperer" If bikes had guardian angels, mine would 100% be named Brandon. I came in with a rear derailleur that sounded like it was trying to communicate in Morse code — click-click-grind-crunch. Shifting gears felt like playing the world’s worst slot machine: pull the lever and pray for a smooth spin. I was ready to give up and start riding a scooter. Enter Brandon. Calm. Confident. A man who clearly communes with chains, cogs, and cables on a spiritual level. He took one look and said, “Yeah, we can fix that.” No judgment, no shame — just quiet determination and the faint gleam of someone who’s seen things. Fast-forward a short while later, and my bike now shifts smoother than jazz on a Sunday morning. Every click is crisp. Every gear change feels intentional. The chaos has been replaced by mechanical harmony. Honestly, I think my bike respects me again. Not only did Brandon fix what I thought was unfixable, but he also explained what went wrong in a way I could actually understand. So yeah — if your rear derailleur is possessed, call an exorcist named Brandon. He doesn’t just repair bikes; he restores faith. 5/5 stars — my drivetrain and I are forever grateful.

The Trek midtown manager Chris is a rock star! His commitment to customer service is extraordinary. True customer service is demonstrated by how you handle a challenge, and Chris/Trek met the challenge. We had an issue with a bike rack we purchased from Trek. It was a good rack, but we discovered after a few trips that it just didn't hold our particular style of e-bikes well. I called to discuss my concern and Chris said come right in, I want you to be satisfied, we will take care of you. He examined it, acknowledged the problem and exchanged it. He serviced the bike from some related damage at no cost. He showed us a new rack that fit our bikes much better, demonstrated how it worked, put it together and was extremely fair on the cost difference. AND he did all this servicing, demonstrating and building after store hours to get us on the road for a trip! The bottom line is Chirs showed through action that he cared more about long term customer satisfaction than short term profits. This approach I guarantee will lead to repeat sales from me and every person I can tell about Chris and Midtown Trek's service, like in this forum. BTW, we LOVE our Trek Townie e-bikes. If you're in the market for any bike needs, go see Chris at midtown Trek. Midtown is worth it even if you live further away.

We went in to get an attachment for adding air to a mtn bike tire. We were greeted upon entering the store. The store was laid out nicely and the employees were friendly and very helpful. We were able to measure one of our younger kids while we were there and now have an idea what a bike costs.
