We are using the Student Loupes for conducting hand-pollination in an insect proof-glasshouse in Perth, Australia. Flowers are very small and the magnification that we get with the loupes and at the right distance from the flowers is essential for us. Great quality and clarity of image.

I have had my TTL loupes for over a year now and I am using them everyday. I cannot fault them. Great product at such a great price. Customer service is also brilliant.

I have had my Student Loupes Company TTL loupes with Purelight and prescription lenses for about a year and a half now so they have had a good test drive prior to this review. My experience with the company was good from the start with unexpectedly quick and supportive email responses both before and after I had made the leap to buy. The ability to slot in new prescription lenses if my sight changed was a strong selling point for me. In terms of quality, I was happily surprised for the price and nothing has broken, fallen off, worn etc. The optical clarity and light has been excellent although it was a learning curve for me to realise that sometimes turning the light intensity down actually improves the 3D relief of the cavity or restoration. I have had no regrets with my purchase and although I have little experience of other brands I cannot see the justification for paying hundreds of pounds more.

Really good quality loupes. Little differences compared to more expensive brands. Excellent customer service from Mark who helped with my higher powered prescription issues. Really pleased with this company and will be returning to them to buy a light soon.

I've looked at the other usual suspects when looking for 5x loupes. I was a bit hesitant thinking there must be something lacking since all the competitors were in the £2000-£3000 range. I went with the 5x flip down (adjustable declination angle for the win) loupes with basic light. I was pleasantly surprised with the product and this has been the best investment I have made all year. It does the job very well, I am routinely using for endo, composite and other intricate jobs including preparing for internal whitening. Tip: Measure your working distance at your place of work and in your most ergonomic posture, these loupes can save your neck and back a world of pain. Customer service was great, I was thinking of adjusting my working length and the reply by email was "Working distance - not a problem, please could you let me know what working distance you are after?". Exactly what you expect when making any sizeable purchase.

Great pair of loupes. I got them when I was a undergraduate and they are still going very strong. The light and loupes have had no problems so far. Very good customer service as well.
