Tried all the big brands I could get my hands on (Keeler, designs for vision, Zeiss and Foryoumed) but found them often very heavy and always insanely expensive. After looking online for alternatives I found The student loupes company. The reviews I found on trustpilot were all positive and my experiences so far have been nothing but positive aswell. Communication is top notch (fast response and helpful!). I love the loupes (custom TTL 3.5X) as they are light, provide clear vision without any bending of the lines at the edges of the viewing field and have a decent viewing field). I bought the loupes and was so satisfied that I bought another pair a few months later at a different working distance (one for surgery when I stand and one for when I'm sitting). Initially I was a bit sceptical due to the price difference with all the other companies but the 30 day return policy for a custom product combined with all the positive reviews made me take the chance which I haven't regretted to date! Very happy with my loupes. I got prescription lenses and the flip up 2.5x loupes. Customer service to get my script and working length spot on was brill. And they arrived ready to go with no further adjustments needed. Great company with reasonably priced products perfect for trainees /students. Thanks

Amazing quality loupes at an affordable price for students! I ordered the 3.0x TTL loupes as well as the pure optics light and they are everything I have wanted in a pair of loupes, they fit perfectly and the field of vision is not compromised. Also having tried out top of the range loupes I can say with confidence that the quality in the optics is astonishing for the price point. The customer service was brilliant with immediate replies to all of my queries. I met with William Holmes who helped me greatly in figuring out which pair of loupes were the one for me. Who genuinely interested in what was the best for the customer and not the profit margin. I cannot emphasise how much I would recommend this company for anyone that is thinking about buying loupes.

I got an Original Optics light through Student Loupes Company and it's just as good as my previous light that cost twice as much. Customer service is great as well; I needed to attach the light to a weird brand of loupes, and Mark responded right away to help me find the right attachment.

Thank you for my first pair of loupes! I bought a pair of 3.0x TTL loupes and I absolutely love them! They are light and comfortable; I took no time to get used to them. The light is crisp and bright and the loupes have a wide field of vision. I was a little worried about ordering them without meeting a sales rep especially since the TTLs require some measurements. However, my apprehensions were completely misplaced. Student Loupes Company has a customer care practice that is on a whole different level. Will was very patient with all my queries and was able to guide me to purchase what would be best for me. I would definitely recommend these loupes to everyone looking for a pair!

I have been loupe-less since qualifying as a dentist in 2002, but recently started a PG Cert in Restorative Dentistry and I was the only person there without them - I asked around the group I was studying with, and had a few recommendations to the SLC so thought I'd check them out. I'm someone who doesn't much like dealing with reps in my surgery so I loved the idea that I could order a bespoke set online. I found Mark incredibly helpful and answered all my questions via email almost immediately, any day of the week or time of day! It was easy working out the measurements required for the TTL loupes with the guidance on the site, and the loupes themselves arrived in less than a month. They came in a hard aluminium mini case with padding to protect the loupes. They work so well and are set up for me just right, I found them really easy to get used to and I especially like the illumination - prepping a tricky UL7 today was made so much easier, I don't know how I would have done it without them.
