In March of last year, my boyfriend got in a bad bicycle accident and he had lost three front teeth. His dad recommended us to Dr. Stoner and our first consultation went great, him and his team seemed very caring and passionate about their job. After his first two surgeries, communication started going down hill. Scheduling his third appointment seemed never ending. He called countless times for over a month, even resorted to emailing them and leaving voice mails. When they finally got back to us, they said they had no missed calls or emails from him which is funny because we have the records. Finally getting an appointment scheduled months later, he was getting gum removed to show his implants. After he healed, we were to come back and make an appointment for his teeth. They tell us his teeth don't look right, they aren't happy. But his oral surgeon wasn't there, so we again had to make another appointment to see him (which took a good 2 months) Come to find out with that appointment, they want to put more gum back on. Meaning they took to much gum away the first time. We were not able to get an appointment to do that for a few more months. Tomorrow is finally his appointment to get more gun put back on, A YEAR LATER. Now they have been calling because they want him to push his appointment time back an hour. Which is inconvient for us with out busy work and school schedules. That is besides the point. We told them we could come in earlier if that works. They respond with saying that we can arrive at the appointment time but will still be waiting an hour before he is seen. What is one more hour compared to all these months of waiting anyway right? So many small hiccups in the road along the way. And we are also still waiting to hear about his insurance. They ran it through WRONG when we first started this process. It was ran under dental instead of medical, meaning we had to pay everything out of pocket and wondered why. It was because it was ran through wrong. So there is just another problem that has not been resolved. I still have high hopes that it is only taking awhile because they want his teeth perfect and are doing the best they can. But along this whole process I have little hope.
