I recently had my second procedure at Stoner Periodontic Specialists in Dublin. I returned to Dr. Stoner for this more complicated second surgery because my first experience a couple of years ago had been very positive. Anyone considering this practice for what is obviously an intimidating and sometimes scary gum or implant surgery should know that Dr. Stoner and his associates are using the most advanced technology to make sure that they are able to precisely diagnose the problem and then use the same precision to repair it.
This time I had two extractions, bone grafts, one implant and a sinus elevation done at one time. I was quite nervous about it, but everyone from the front desk personnel to the assistants to Dr. Stoner himself knew how to reassure me and educate me so that I understood everything they would be doing. I appreciated that they arranged for a special anesthesiologist for me due to my heart condition. They are extremely careful and conscientious, and I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Stoner and his team have been excellent throughout my treatment. As a current dental student at Ohio State, I have a great appreciation for quality patient care, and I have to say my expectations were exceeded in coming to Stoner Periodontic Specialists. I had a difficult case involving the fusion of one of my upper front teeth to the bone of it's socket, resulting in a decreased aesthetic appearance as well as resorption of the root that would have eventually resulted in the loss of the tooth. Even some of the faculty at Ohio State were cautious in their estimates of what could be achieved in terms of replacing the tooth so that it would look natural and adapt well to the surrounding gum tissue. Through a series of connective tissue grafts, a bone graft, and precise placement of a dental implant, Dr. Stoner was able to give my restorative dentist, Dr. Dana Walters, an ideal foundation on which to place my final crown. I have been very satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend Dr. Stoner to family and friends for their future dental care.

My dentist, Dr. Walters, recommended Dr. Stoner for my gum graft in summer 2012. The idea of dental work always makes me nervous and I had never been sedated for a procedure before. The consultation put my mind at ease. The staff was excellent, from the front desk to the billing. Obviously I have no recollection of the actual procedure since I was sedated but the treatment before and after was amazing. Dr. Stoner explained everything and answered every question I had. Recovery time went as expected. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a periodontist.

I've been so impressed with everyone at the Dr. Stoner periodontist practice in Columbus. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The day of my surgery, Kelly was the one who prepped me and she was specially comforting. At my followup appointment I didn't feel rushed at all. Dr. Stoner is a great listener. He just kept asking questions. I feel like in most practices you can tell when they're trying to keep you moving which in turn makes me not get all of the information that I need. I know I could call in with any questions or concerns I would have and everything would be taken care of. Thank you Dr. Stoner and his great team!

Implant process is clearly outlined and excellent patient care was provided by Dr Stoner and staff. Only shortfall was I had to inquire about balance, only to learn of a $1,000 credit. Front office should be proactive on such matters. I had to request a check. This is reason for 4 star rating vs 5 star.

The staff is outstanding. Very helpful very calming. The doctor does excellent work! My only comment would be that it would be nice to see the dentist before the procedure. I never got to see him when I had my bone graft or the implant put in.

Medical team is knowledgable and competent. Treatment went well. But financial team seems a bit lagging, insurance claims took almost a year and still not sure whether they have been done. Maybe that is why patient needs to pay 100% upfront first. ?
