Menu is not sufficient, light menu only. Had to order extra dishes. A bit different from Paris as no alcohol provided and had to buy one. Over all more expensive than Paris with lower quality. Not too happy. Oh the boat was older too.

This was our second brunch cruise with Bateaux. First time was spectacular, this time was not so good. I think it just depends if you get a good server or not. The first time we had the best server. We had a group of 12 people and she was fantastic. No one’s glass was ever empty. This time, our server Bryan, didn’t seem to understand what bottomless mimosas were. We physically had to stop him and ask for more mimosas 3 different times. He was not busy, as the side of the boat we were on wasn’t even half full. He was walking around a lot but not doing much. The carafes of mimosas were sitting in the sun so they were quite warm. We asked for ice and as soon as we put the ice in the mimosas, the ice melted instantly so we were then drinking watered down warm mimosas. Food wasn’t very good this time either. Chicken was so dry we couldn’t chew it. I would still recommend this cruise as it is a beautiful, scenic way to see the city and the Statue of Liberty. Just cross your fingers you get a good server. Grab a burger before too.

We had a dinner reservation at Bateaux last night. Overall was a great experience, the ambiance as great, the staff was amazing and very attentive from the guys outside to the gentleman at the front desk, the waiter and the photographer. I definitely will give them 10/10. Food wasn’t that good, we choosed ravioli for appetizer wich was ok, but then the main course wasn’t that tasty ( we had osso buca and sea bass), but l didn’t have any expectation for the food. What made me give them 3 starts were the extra payment they charge to sit close to the window and in fact the glass where we sat it was very blurry and you could easy tell that wasn’t from the cold bcs not everywhere was the same. Mostly of the tables had very clear window. That made me so upset. l would attach pictures so you can see how blurry was the view. Definitely do not pay extra for the seat next to the window.

I would have given this five stars if it were not for one thing. The vocalist in the live entertainments mic volume was turned up so loud I felt like I was being screamed at the entire cruise. The food and wine selection was very good as was the service. The boat captain stopped in front of the Statue of Liberty for five minutes for us to take in the grandeur of the moment . This was an exceptional bucket list part of our tour of NYC on November 25, 2023.

The overall experience was underwhelming compared to the cost. The hostess was very nice and the waiter was super friendly. However, the food was below average. They listed a kale salad but instead they served a lettuce salad saying they ran out of kale. They have espresso and cappuccino on the menu but said their espresso machine is broken. I ordered Champaign but they said they ran out as well. The fish came out cold and not well seasoned. The views were good though.

I went on the Bateaux Premium Dimmer Cruise. The price was $600 for 2 people. The food was mediocre with very small portions, The entertainment was just ok, the sound wasn’t that great, might have been because we where sitting on the other side of the cruise opposite to the entertainment. The service was not premium, it was just ok service. For $600 for 2 people the value was just not there, it was a good experience over all but for $600 you have a lot better options in the city. The only thing i can say we enjoyed was the views, other than that everything was just ok given the price paid. As you sit down they ask you if you want tap water or premium water that you pay for, after paying $600 a person you would think they would give you free soft drinks, they don’!. Asking you if you want tap water or premium water after you pay $600 just doesn’t feel right. Over all i’m glad i did it, but I think for the price it’s not worth it. There’s has to be a better cruise in NYC with better service, better food and portions and better entertainment… The cruise is also a bit old understandable, but at least keep it it pristine condition. Scrape the peeling paint repaint it, clean the windows, it does not cost much! Give better portions, i mean how much does bread cost? Put a basket of bread on the plate not just 1 small piece. Value value value! The only reason they can get away with it, is because it’s NYC, but those of us from here who are use to real premium service can tell you the truth.

The food was not good, for what I paid on VALENTINE'S Day they can do better. Staff friendly and professional. The experience was ok.
