My instructors, Jen and Sean, were very kind, informative, and made the experience enjoyable! If you had any questions, they were ready to answer and break down the information until you felt comfortable moving on. One benefit was that we all learned on the same bike (Kawasaki V-star 250) which was small and easy enough to maneuver so that we could get comfortable with riding. Once the course was over, they supplied us with plenty of information regarding new bikes, riding tips, insurance info, and general wisdom from their years of experience which added to the comfort of knowing that we were in the hands of people who actually care about us as riders. I have already referred two people and if anyone else were to ask, I'd point them to The Riding Center in Riverdale as well! Thank you Jen and Sean!

a year agoPete and Bruce are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. They draw from decades of experience to help each student work out any problems they are having. They have an infectious love for riding as well. I highly recommend these guys!Pete and Bruce are incredibly knowledgeable and patient. They also want to make sure you have the skills necessary to ... See MoreIf you are new to driving bikes, if you have experience, but need a license this is the course for you. Don and Mike were awesome, they truly care for you and your well-being. They also want to make sure you have the skills necessary to be safe on the road. If you cannot pass this course, it is because they truly want you to be safe. Even after riding ATVs and dirt bikes for over 10 years the course still showed me plenty of new information and also trained application. I would recommend this course for anyone who feels they are ready to drive a motorcycle on the road.

See MoreThis course was just what I needed to build my confidence as a basic rider. I completed Day 1 and 2 without a hitch. Unfortunately due to test anxiety on day 2 during the skills assessment portion I became too nervous to continue. The instructors Don and Irene were both understanding and encouraging while I opted out. I was able to sign a form indicating why I couldn’t proceed and was given the option by Shari in the office to attend a day 2 course if there was availability to complete my skills assessment. Fortunately I was able to attend a day 2 course 2 days later and passed with flying colors. I highly recommended this course to a basic rider who’s never ridden before. They are very supportive.

Worth every single penny was actually pretty cheap for the value offered with the great instructors!Awesome class!!! Learned a ton! See MoreI just completed the Basic Rider Course yesterday with Don and Irene and let me tell you, those people are impeccable instructors. They take the time to not only explain what the book says, but they also get on a bike and show you EXACTLY what to do…even down to being stationary and showing your how to manipulate your hands and feet. They don’t just tell you what to do and throw you out there and expect you to figure it out. I left the class with the knowledge and confidence that I will be able to do what I can to be the safest rider out on the road. Shout out to Alex also who I was able to meet. Him, Don and Irene don’t take themselves seriously, but they take the class seriously. Their sense of humor and knowledge make the learning experience important but sprinkled with some comedy. I would DEFINITELY recommend MRC to my friends and family. It’s worth every penny.

a year agoPeter and Alex were great instructors! Kept it fun and light but also effective and serious. Pacing was good, learned a lot over two days though always in baby steps, the perfect way to learn. Definitely recommended!Peter and Alex were great instructors! a year agoHad a great time learning to ride. I had absolutely zero experience, not even sat on a motorcycle before.
