We have ordered several times from Farmer Grant and his crew at Hungry Hallow Farm. We appreciate his farm’s mission to reconnect people with real food, treat animals humanely, and practice regenerative agriculture which builds tilth and is a real way to sequester carbon. This is a farm that should serve as a model for others. I like to think of it as beyond organic. We’ve purchased chicken, beef, and eggs from HH and have enjoyed them all immensely. The chicken is the most chicken tasting chicken and takes me back to my youth growing up on a small 3 acre farm in Ohio. The beef is also top notch. We’ve enjoyed learning to cook the various cuts that you get when you purchase a cow share. Our favorites this far are the beefy flavored ground beef and the various roasts that we braise low and slow in the oven with plenty of herbs and flavorful braising liquid.
You can feel great about your purchase at Hungry Hollow Farm firm in the knowledge that Grant and his staff are passionate about delivering a great product that’s not only good for you and tastes great, but it improves the environment too and shows that our meat and poultry don’t have to come from factory farms and can be sustainably raised.

I took part in the Hungry Hollow Farm monthly subscription service since the beginning. It included 2 whole chickens per month as well as 3 dozen eggs per month. Each month, the orders arrived with the freshest and most delicious chicken products I've tasted. And nicely presented too and package with great care. It's awesome to support a local farm, eating locally produced goods, so that I feel good about what i'm eating!

We have enjoyed Farmer Grant's eggs, chicken, and pork. It's all excellent! We have visited the farm many times, and thoroughly enjoy seeing all the critters out in their huge pastures enjoying life. Fantastic eggs! I enjoy the rich taste and knowing that the hens were treated humanely and were able to enjoy the outdoors. One visit to the farm was all it took to convince me to change my buying habits. I bought a turkey for Thanksgiving and can't wait to share it with my family.

This is the only place I buy my eggs. Being a city gal coming into country, I admit, the change from store bought eggs was DIFFICULT. Seeing and learning the process on this farm made me overcome the fear, and now, I am committed to farm fresh eggs from Hungry Hollow and they are DELICIOUS! We have been fortunate to have also had Hungry Hollow beef, pork and chicken. The taste is amazing. I think our absolute favorite cut of meat so far was the beef blade roast. Best darn roast we ever had! Besides taste, we feel good eating this factory free food and supporting our favorite local farmer Grant.
