I’ve had the pleasure of participating in the Cateran Yomp over the last 4 Years and can honestly say, hand on heart it is without doubt one of the best Charity events I have ever had the pleasure of attending. It is always meticulously planned and executed with military precision. The ABF Staff are outstanding with their dedication & enthusiasm which is infectious; no matter what time of day or night you meet these guys at the various check points along the route, they always greet you with a smile & a hearty ‘Well Done’. Keep doing what you’re doing lads ‘n’ lasses of the ABF, you’re quite simply the best!

This is a very well run event, for an excellent charity. Booking in to the event is seamless, and you get regular updates leading up to the event. The food and drink around the course is fantastic, and not forgetting the wonderful event staff and volunteers for keeping morale high, or the POD squad for taking care of our feet.

Best endurance walking event in Scotland by a country mile....or 54 if you will pardon the pun.The ABF team look after you from registration to Bronze, Silver or the Gold finish.The atmosphere at the Yomp is unique.....everyone is there for s common cause and the camaraderie is amazing.Your well fed, encouraged all the way by your fellow yompers and the amazing volunteers.Go on challenge yourself....

By far the best organised event of its type. Outstanding support from signing up to the finish line. When asked for ways to improve the event, I had nothing!!! Fellow competitors are a wonderful bunch, the food is incredible, the scenery is breathtaking, the feeling of accomplishment is wonderful and all for the worthiest of causes. Go ahead, you won’t be disappointed!!
