I have had the pleasure of one back surgery. The procedure worked very well. Dr. Doran and staff are great at what they do. This is the reason why I came back, they are really good as well. Great customer service. THANK YOU DR. DORAN AND STAFF!!!!!

This office is very well run and efficient and all the employees are very kind. I saw Dr. Steve Doran who spent a lot of time with me and was very thorough and a very good listener. He is very knowledgeable as well. He is patient and caring not like a lot of other doctor's i have seen. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Doran and staff did an excellent job of improving my quality of life by performing a double laminectomy and double fusion in September 2022. The sciatica is virtually gone and I am back to doing most activities without any help. Am sending a HUGE thank you to Dr. Doran and everyone at MD West One and Midwest Surgical Hospital!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Guy Music concerning my left SI joint and the issues I have been having with it. His PA, Chris, is totally amazing also. They both had throughly studied my notes from previous surgeries with Dr. Stephan Doran in their consideration doing surgery on my SI joint. Dr. Music and Chris were professional, kind, caring and friendly to me and are going to help me be well and pain free!!! I will continue to recommend this office and these doctors to everyone because they are that good all the way around. If I could rate them 10 STRS...I would!

I have been seeing Dr Doran for some time with a with a spine disorder and he has been very helpful in discussing treatment and options moving forward AT MY OWN PACE. I saw him again yesterday to investigate surgery for my condition (after a year and a half of therapy, exercise, and medication) and he was extremely informative and assuring. I will likely move forward with the surgery sometime in the not too distant future to alleviate the daily pain, and I am confident in him as the one I would trust with something as sensitive as my spine and my mobility.

I had Dr Doran and he was a great surgeon to have in your corner. He did my fusion surgery and I had some complications with bleeding issues. I know that sometimes a doctor has to tell you what you don’t want to hear. But I trust him and his staff.

This office is very friendly and efficient. I did not have to wait more than a few minutes til Dr. Doran came in to talk to me. His PA visited with me first and got a lot of the preliminary questions out of the way. Dr. Doran ordered the necessary tests and they found a place where I was able to get them done the same day. I highly recommend this office.

I had lower back surgery with Dr. Doran about three weeks ago and I am so pleased with his work. I no longer suffer from any sciatic issues or back pain. I feel I have my life back and am able to do just about anything again. My incision has healed nicely; you can barely even see it. The staff were all wonderful and took the time to listen and make me feel important. Dr. Doran and his staff, to include the Physician’s Assistant Dave, was awesome and I would recommend MD West One to anyone having back issues. This place has given my life back!! Great place!!

Dr. Doran is an outstanding neurosurgeon. He saved the life of my mom by performing an emergency surgery to remove a 4.5 cm brain tumor. Once the tumor was discovered, we met with Dr. Doran for the first time. He showed us MRI images of the tumor and explained to us that given the size of the tumor, it had to be removed surgically. He was very attentive and answered all of our questions clearly. Given the size of the tumor, it's location and the fact that it was attached to the brain, it was expected that my mom would have at least temporary if not permanent speach problems and right side weakness. Thanks to Dr. Doran and all the surgical team including an excellent anesthesiologist, the surgery went very well. My mom didn't need any blood transfusion and she woke up shortly after the surgery speaking and moving her limps with no difficulty. During her 3-day stay at the hospital, Dr. Doran came to check on her every morning, he answered all of our questions and made sure all his instructions to the nurses were followed. He is a true HERO and we are forever grateful to him. Omaha is blessed to have an amazing neurosurgeon. He deserves 10 stars out of 5 for his performance and for being an amazing human being. In fact, several medical professionals spoke highly of his work ethics and skills throughout our journey, and that is a testimony of his reputation in the medical field. It has been 16 days since the surgery and my mom is doing great (no infection, swelling or pain). All the symptoms she experienced prior to the surgery have vanished. Now, we have our mom back, a woman full of energy and laughter thanks to her primary care physician Dr. Eyad Kakish who ordered the MRI, her neurosurgeon Dr. Doran and all the medical professionals who were involved in her care.
