After reading so many positive reviews on Google, I’ve decided to switch to Brook West Dentistry. I do have problems with my teeth, but there were a few issues which made me leave this place and write this review. 1. I never new what I would pay for the treatment, where at the other places I never had a problem with it. My implant treatment plan prices have been changed a few times, and I am the person who tries to know everything upfront and kept asking them for estimates. I had to do a scan for an implant, but never was notified that it would be 300$ and my insurance doesn’t cover it, I am ok paying, but I do want to know ahead of time. (Which had never been a problem at other places).
2. I’ve been asked to write a review after my first cleaning, and I didn’t, as I had no idea what the treatment would be. So now I do and I’ve been a patient for a few years.
3. My biggest problem was that at every teeth cleaning they would find cavities, started with every 3 month, and later switching to 6 months, I can see it when it is on the scan, but those were never shown to me, if I actually had it or not, my husband had been pointing out that it was very suspicious that they find them every time, though I do my teeth cleaning routine religiously. My last draw was when I was told that 3 out of 4 wisdom teeth had cavities. So at that point I had to get a second opinion. Of course I didn’t have any, and the new doctor wasn’t sure if I had it at the other spot, because it did look like a dark spot on the X-rays she’d received, so took another one and the tooth was healthy without any spotting.
