8 years agoDr. Smith has been my dentist for years and is the best there is. G is an excellent hygienist. Both are caring, calm, and gentle. They provide a comfortable experience.Dr. Smith has been my dentist for years and is the best there is. G is an excellent hygienist. Both are caring, calm, and gentle. I struggle with anxiety and going to the dentist is one of my biggest fears. I was forced into making an appointment after one very long and painful day from a bad tooth. From the minute I walked in, the receptionist already started to make me feel more comfortable. Then I was in the chair within minutes. Still very nervous, I just explained my anxiety to Dr. Wang and his wonderful assistant. They made this experience incredible and catered to me in any way to make me feel comfortable. Going to the dentist will still make me nervous but this was a big game changer and will go nowhere else. Thanks again, Dr. Wang and your excellent assistant (sorry forgot your name). Andrew K

I read bad reviews about the oral surgeon I was suppose to ... See MoreI came across Brook West Family Dentistry on the internet. I was referred to an oral surgeon by a dentist that I had previously went to because my tooth was broken, and decaying. I read bad reviews about the oral surgeon I was suppose to go to, and not to mention it was hard for them to work around my work schedule because I work over nights. So I stumbled upon Brook West on an internet search. They were able to see me that night! Dr. Domaas actually made time in his schedule to see me! Unlike the previous dentist, Dr. Domaas seen how bad my tooth was becoming and pulled it that night! He didn't even think about sending me to a different place! Overall, this is now my dentist, and I would recommend anybody to come here!!

I had been a patient at the Smile Center in Savage but was desperate for a change. I have high anxiety with dental work and the experience there made my anxiety worse. From the time I called Dr. Domaas, I was immediately put at ease. I didn't feel shame about my situation, was finding courage to address the issues, was given an appointment for a few days after (may have been a weekend). I was given compassionate and gentle care, extremely particular attention to the quality of the end result and the most comfortable experience of my life. They exceeded all expectations of what I was seeking. My new teeth are perfect, beautiful, functional and very, very comfortable. I would travel to see them, even the 25 miles to them was never an issue and I would drive 100!

16 years ago...you never change them. I have been going to one of the dentist for the past 6 years! I have had such great experiences with the whole staff. Over the years it has been very difficult for me to get into the Dentist. I had a few bad experiences when I was younger. I No longer have to worry about that anymore. Dr. Barsky is a wonderful dentist who cares for his patients and is very upfront regarding his prices. He provides a wonderful service: he takes time and explains every step with patience and attention to detail. His assistant Missy was super nice and did an amazing job; she answered my questions and made me feel at ease. The office is spectacular, the atmosphere is inviting and the staff is very knowledgeable!

a year agoVery "sterile" corporate feel - definitely not the same experience as a small, private practice. I was also charged >$250 for a cavity after insurance whereas at a clinic I went to this week charged me $70 (same insurance).Very "sterile" corporate feel - definitely not the same experience as a small, private practice. It was recommended that I have four cavities replaced, this felt aggressive considering I have good oral hygiene and had been to the dentist 6 months earlier. I sought out a second opin ... See MoreG was really great for a first timer in the clinic. It was recommended that I have four cavities replaced, this felt aggressive considering I have good oral hygiene and had been to the dentist 6 months earlier. I sought out a second opinion who only found two out of the four to be an issue, and the other two they felt were just fine. This isn't a negative review, as those teeth could eventually pose a problem, but it just felt aggressive for a first time visit. On top of that it was told to me that I needed to do this quickly or they would progress to crowns. I'm not eating rocks on a daily basis, so I'm pretty sure I have a couple months to wait before I would need to get some cavities replaced. Overall I felt pretty comfortable here, but just be warned that first timers at dentist office are often recommended treatment And you may not receive the same recommendations at other offices at other offices.
