This place reminds me of how customer service used to be. Someone greets you at the door, they look you in the eye when they’re talking to you (not at their phone), they’re happy to help, and they’re knowledgeable. And they’re NOT bike snobs! They don’t look down their noses at my 1984 Schwinn Traveler. I would highly recommend for anyone with any bike.

In my experience, bike shops can be dicey with repairs if you have a functioning old bike and aren’t interested in a new one. Wasn’t the case at all here! The guys at the counter were professional and pleasant. Fixed me up with a new intertube faster than I expected and had me on my way. Will return.

Hala was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and immediately tuned into what I needed. She didn’t try to oversell me—she truly listened and understood that I just wanted to enjoy my ride without the discomfort I’d been experiencing from saddle pain.
Not only did she help me find a bib that fit perfectly, but it turns out it was on a mannequin! That didn’t stop her—she happily dismantled the display and insisted I try them on, even though I was already sweaty from a bike ride up from South Philly.
On top of that, Hala went above and beyond by helping me locate a bike route I’d been having trouble finding, which gave me the perfect excuse to test out the new bib before heading home.
I honestly wish I had more cycling needs at the moment, because I would absolutely make the ride back just to work with her again. When the time comes, I know exactly where—and who—I’ll be visiting.

I enjoyed every part of my experience looking for a bike at Trek in Manayunk. I walked in one day shortly before closing to buy a lock and ended up asking a couple questions about their ebikes. Pete was kind enough to answer some questions about what they had available so I made a point to come back a couple days later and do test rides and compare the different options. Idris was so helpful and probably spent an hour with me going through every feature I wanted and comparing the models. Since the model I had ridden in store was backordered for over a month and I wanted one sooner, he started looking into a different model they had at the warehouse. The best part is that ebike ended up checking all the boxes I wanted, was on sale, arrived in only a couple days, and was ready to go in a week! I'd definitely recommend Trek in Manayunk to anyone in the market for a new bike. The service was great and I look forward to the Trek warranty and trusting them with any maintenance or issues that may come up
