I was basically a rank beginner. Tony’s infectious teaching style, the 10 min commitment, and trying something a little different every day building into a week’s lesson set, all keeps it interesting, challenging, yet still approachable. I’m almost 2 months in, playing just about every day. It really is fun.

I started playing guitar when I was 12, but after college not having my playing buddies, I put my music away for over 20 years. I started back some time ago, finding a course online, but it was too much into music theory and exercises that became boring. I tried some classic guitar because I love finger style and can't sing, but again I couldn't find myself so I put everything back into the closet; that was 12 years ago. I saw TAC on Facebook, and kept scrolling past it, but it kept reappearing. I watched the video, and figured what the heck and signed up. Right now I am into week 2, mostly refresher lessons for me at this stage, however a lot more fun than the old stuff I used to play. Biggest issue now being a lot older, is rebuilding my calluses and hand strength. I have small hands, so some chord stretches require finding another way to shape the chord.

Hardly seems possible that Im moving on to the 5 day challenge! Ive played for a couple of years but strictly strumming... always wishing for more... and starts to feel possible! I in no way mastered the lessons but got more confident! On to the next challenges! thanks Tony

I’d taken in person guitar lessons for about 6 months more than 10 years ago, so I own a guitar, but just didn’t gain traction. I’m basically a rank beginner who can’t carry a tune. I stumbled on Tony’s 36 min video on Instagram. Tony’s presentation, with its “10 minute a day” and “fun” emphasis, got me. The 10 min DAILY practice combined with the trying something a little different every day keeps me engaged - I’m almost 2 months in, playing just about every day. I needed to learn a few things to get going (use an app to tune your guitar, esp to open or alternate tuning; watch really carefully how Tony holds his hands and fingers). I’m enjoying this learning and playing, it’s good for my brain and really is fun.

I have learned so much from TAC. As an advanced intermediate, I was skeptical that there would be any lessons for my ability level. But to my surprise there are many topics in the skills section that I find very helpful and challenging. I am currently working on my flat picking and making amazing progress. Tony’s lessons are easy to follow and straight forward. Definitely recommend!
