Encouragement for my fellow Acoustic challenge members. I’ve now competed 495 sessions following Tony’s methodology -- almost 2 years! I just turned 75, and after thinking about really learning to play acoustic guitar, my research said Tony's Challenge was the way to do it -- cost effectively! And it has really worked! I highly recommend those of you that are just starting out try it for three months. I am actually playing songs - flat picking, finger picking and just playing chords while I sing. Most importantly I’m having a blast. Try it!!

I know I'm not alone in that one of the main obstacles I thought I faced in learning guitar from scratch was not being able to stick with it and make it a habit. After a little over two months, I have to say that I'm not only sticking with it, I'm bordering on obsession. And that is a good thing! I love practicing each day and I think it a lot about when I'm not. I give Tony and his approach, the practice material, and his manner of teaching, most of the credit for this. I'm very happy with TAC.I like the daily challenges and the skill courses, but it can be really hard to get it down sometimes, particularly chord transitions. There are frustrations (I'm looking at you F Major and barre chords). I know I have to be patient and remind myself that I am only two months into this, but I'm really have fun and know I'm getting better by the day.

Tony's Acoustic Challenge has so change the world of my guitar playing. I am on a 118 consecutive days streak. Now I haven't always been able to play the challenges well. A few were Greek to me. Some where a piece of cake. Today's challenge will take another cup of strong coffee to master putting this weeks lessons all into order. Yet every one of them were fun. I have and am learning so so much. Enjoying my mornings with Tony's daily challenges more so than the coffee. And that my friend is saying a lot. Thank you Tony

I came back to the guitar after a 10 year break. I wasn't brilliant back then. I have moved on more in 2 months that I did in years previously. I wish I had the course 10 years ago. I would have been awesome by now! However, I am getting there and having great fun. Just do it!

I am trying to incorporate TAC into my busy day. I read other comments and I find there are others with the same problem. I do like the program even though it is very challenging. My arthritic fingers don't want to cooperate sometimes, but I am determined to learn. It has always been my dream to play in front of people.

It took a little time for me to "get with the Tony program" and organize myself to understand the method, but I can honestly say it is working well and the approach makes sense. My gut tells me to stick with it and keep playing, learning, stretching my skills and understanding.
