Just joined. I am 68 years old and took up the guitar to help my fingers keep supple. The fretting exercises in the blues section are certainly helping with that. I haven't started on the course proper and already I am feeling the benefits. My aim is just to be able to play a recognizable tune and the progress from there. Must say I did not think there was so much memorizing of patterns and note recognition which will hopefully keep my brain ticking over as well. Impressed so far. Cannot wait to see my progress at day 30.

I'm 77 years old and have been just strumming on my classical nylon string guitars for years. Well, here I am and I now have a Fender Acoustic guitar that I got for Christmas two years ago. The steel strings and thinner neck combined to make it very difficult at first, but I'm now, 2 months in, finally seeing improvement. I've tried other methods but would get bored and just quit. I still have lots of room for improvement but I won't give up. I play everyday and have the callouses to prove it. The key is practice, practice, practice. This is a fun course. Thanks, Tony.

I had some guitar experience from high school but honestly haven’t really played until buying this course. It has motivated me to try and play daily and learn something new daily. While I have popped in and out of the course while learning a new song that incorporated what I had learned I always go back to the course for motivation and learning. This is a wonderful environment to push yourself and learn. I have had private lessons (high school) and tried other courses (fender) being the last. This course blows them all away. Highly recommend this to anyone but especially the over 50 set who may have dabbled with the guitar.

Beginning my journy has just started, I find the teaching vidios great. Tony explains very well and takes time to place the importance in at leat try each step. Every person learns at different speeds and Tony does not expect you to rush through. You can feel he really cares and he wants you to enjoy the process.

I've picked up bits and pieces on the guitar over the years but never fully committed to learning how to play. When I happened upon Tony's video on YouTube, I was mesmerized and convinced that TAC is what I've needed all along. So far, I've completed the intro and still working on the basics like the Blues Shuffle, Baseline, and Boogie, but it doesn't feel like practice, and I can't wait to get home each evening, grab my guitar and play the blues. It's a little slow going but I feel like I improve daily, and Tony's videos make me feel like an old friend is sitting across from me and showing me the ropes with patience and without judgment. I look forward to each video and lesson, and I'm excited to continue.
