I’m very excited to be part of Tony’s Guitar Geeks. Only been part of the TAC family for a couple weeks but I’m spending time with my guitar everyday and having a blast. The 30 day to play course is well structured and engaging. But more than the course content i would highlight the positive vibes that seem to come from all corners of TAC and for that I’m so very grateful. Guitar Geeks Unite!

I'm a 70 year old who has been dabbling with guitar for 20 years off and on. I'm proficient with chords, chord changes and strumming. I signed up for TAC to see if I could learn some new things. And I signed up for a year membership. I think the 30 Days to Play section is for beginners, but a lot of it is a refresher for me. I'm about to start the week 4 segment. I'm enjoying the classes so far and I really liked the blues segment because it had me fretting individual notes, which I don't do often. I want to learn more of that. Overall, I'm very happy with TAC so far and am looking for more new tips.

Be glad to answer the survey. Am enjoying TAC, and love the fact that I can go back and work thru 5 day challenges repeatedly. Fingers pretty inflexible, barre chords a huge challenge.

After years in music, I played Bass and drums. Started playing drums at 5 years old. I moved from L.A. to Phoenix, where I went through a decade of hepatitis treatments. My keyboard will not print the hepatitis type. I decided to learn guitar while on treatment, but it didn't go well. Three years ago, I kept seeing Tony's ads, and eventually I started the lessons, and I'm happy I did; it keeps me on a somewhat regular schedule to practice. I would love to see some advanced

I was curious about the five core skills of guitar playing. I have been playing for many years and had never seen so clear and concise a description of my relationship with the instrument I play. The free five day introductory lessons really impressed me. A couple or three friends have pointed out that I am not a beginner and the music covered in TAC is pretty far removed from the Traditional Irish repertoire I spend so much of my time playing and performing. I have found that the five skills are pretty universal and transfer well. There's the physical aspects, better pick control, greater finger and hand strength, and improved muscle memory. Let's not forget the cognitive benefits of focused hearing, real time analysis and response while playing. I am much more aware of opportunities to throw in a lick or add movement with a well placed bass line. It has been years since I was a beginning guitarist. I would have benefited so much from a program like TAC. I feel that this program delivers a jump start, or in my case a restart, for any serious player.

So far, I love this. Tony does a great job of teaching guitar chords and techniques. I look forward to playing every day now with goals in mind. I am learning things in stress free environment and gaining confidence along the way and it has only been 1 week!
