I have enjoyed the videos and the parts that are difficult I am now working on more diligently I use to try them and say well that's not fun then just pluck around and never learn anything new, but now I work a little harder to make them easier because that is how you learn, I joined the fretboard wizard because I wanted to further my knowledge and boy has it I have books that say the same things but Tony breaks them down so you understand it. I hope to be a lifer here because I think there is always something to learnThank you Tony for sharing your knowledge.

I've been a drummer for over 30 years. During that time I have always wanted to learn guitar. I plunked around some on and off, took a few lessons, went down the youtube rabbit hole but never really felt like I had a solid, from the ground up plan. I had seen Tony's ad several times and finally decided to pull the trigger. I'm glad I did! While the VERY beginning stuff was unnecessary because I did have some LIMITED experience, the chord transition explanation in just week 2 has opened up the door for me. I'm seeing improvement after just the first exercise and am looking forward to what's coming next.

Momentum over Mastery was a helpful suggestion. Typically I feel I have a working grasp of the Daily Challenges, say about 2/3 retention. Fretboard Wizard I understand about 1/3 & wonder how I'll apply this 🤔. After about 2 months I notice I can do more things in practice sessions than before & I start realizing/ picking out where other songs I like are played and I don’t need a chart or tab to have fun. Play along tracks appreciated too. Before I came across TAC one of my obstacles where I felt discouraged was not having anybody to play with. Fun to begin to improvise.

I’m in the 2nd week of the 30 day challenge and have made some wins. I love the structure and Tony’s guidance. For the first time after being a “life long beginner “ I’m looking forward and can’t wait for the next challenge.

One week has passed by using TAC. Some instructional sessions in W1 are well beyond my skill level, but I am focusing upon the "C"hallenge dimension. Trying to not get discouraged. I chose this course because of Tony and his demeanor. Looking forward to improving. My best,Mark
