I will soon be 78 years old and have been a lifetime beginner trying to play the guitar. I have been able to make the cords and transition for a long time but just used 1 strum pattern for every tune, just didn't know what to change. Tony's explanation of strum patterns was a great session and I am beginning to enjoy playing my guitar again. I need help using notes to transition between cords rather than just making the cord. Looking forward to future sessions.

I am a proud Pioneer Member of TAC. I saw some changes with the Site over the years, but one thing remained consistent. Tony is a dedicated teacher, and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing here with this outstanding program. You will really get into a groove with a dedicated Practice Process that means you will enjoy and get better at guitar. Have Fun!!!

Gosh it’s early and I’m working through the 30 Day Course, but I’m loving it. Gotta get through the painful fingers and clumsy hands, but it’s improving each time that I play. I’ve never played before, but now that I’m retired I can commit! This is a great way to learn and I can refer back to previous lessons which helps immensely. Thank you! Mike

I just completed the 30 Days to Play course. I have learned quite a bit about playing the guitar, and I now have some calluses on my finger tips. Plus, taking Tony's advice, I was able to get some lighter strings on my used guitar. It definitely helped! It's a challenge to get my fingers to cooperate with some of the chords, and I need more work on strumming and quickly & smoothly switching from one chord to another. All-in-All, I am seeing & hearing some improvement with my guitar journey. My wife also informed me that she thinks I'm improving little by little, as she hears me play from the other room. I'm looking forward to the next challenge in TAC.

I am enjoying the Quick Start and STARTING to get the shuffle better and better. But it is taking me several times to review it. I am an old lady! But when I played as a young person, I never used a pick, so that is new for me. But, I am getting better and want to keep going, however, I will probably be a bit slower that many others!
