Tony has a good, relaxed teaching style. He really seems to understand the mindset of someone coming at this as a learner, unlike a lot of teachers who I've found forget what it was like before they knew how to play. You can tell this is his true passion. I still feel like I'm kind of dabbling...I don't always get my time every day to play, and 10-15 minutes really doesn't get a skill under my fingers or into my head. Some of the challenges are much harder than others without a lot of help on new techniques (like hammer-ons!), so I don't get a lot out of those as I'd really need to focus hard on them. I feel like I'm learning a little bit about many things, so progress feels a bit slow, but the most important thing is that I am having fun.

I am new to playing the guitar and have tried many different books and apps. I found myself going over and over the same tunes aiming for perfection and learning nothing. I gave up for a few months. I am now experiencing Tac and finding it so refreshing. I have enjoyed my guitar!It is too early to say if this is for me but I am sticking with it and enjoying the challenge, knowing that I don’t have to be perfect and can still progress to the next section. I am absolutely loving learning to play guitar again. I've searched for a very long time for a teaching method that resonated with me. The TAC approach hits the spot for me. Tony's teaching style and method is really what convinced me to sign up and make a commitment to improving my guitar playing. I do love TAC.

I have been working with this course for one week and find it fun. Since I dislike reading guitar theory, I like the way this program is laid out and Tony’s way of teaching. Not a dull moment, and since I’m retired I have time to learn new stuff. I have some experience in guitar playing from earlier, primarily as a hobby. My approach to playing the guitar has mostly involved the use of chords rather than other techniques or styles. Using the whole neck is new to me and the way Tony explained this is just fun.
