I am 75 but still a practicing attorney, but moving to retirement and have free time. I am a true beginner. I happened upon Tony's invitation to try TAC with no risk, and after getting over the “I am just too old” excuse I accepted the challenge knowing that at my age it would really be a challenge! The first day learning to navigate the TAC website was pretty straight forward, everything is right there. I have just completed my first week, working my way through 30 Days to Play, and my fingers are sore, and the coordination between my picking hand and fret fingers is pretty poor, BUT I am able to do the Blues Shuffle, slowly, and it sounds almost like Tony being played at .5 speed with many mistakes, but it is totally cool! I particularly like the ability to go back and review a lesson/challenge, and the loop of Tony playing at a selected speed is enormously helpful. Perfect is not the goal, fun with the guitar is!

I'm 58 and dyslexic. Tony clearly understands learning something new can be frustrating and his message to you is clear: YOU CAN learn this!I am learning at own pace and making daily advancements without the reticule that can come with having a learning disability. I'm very thankful that I found this course.

Done with week one. Liked the boogey exercise. Week two was kind of a refresher but learned a new finger position for the G chord. Went on to the challenge and am having a lot of fun with Ain’t no Sunshine. Good stuff!

I have Been a member of the TAC family for a couple months. I enjoy how the lessons are constructed and delivered. the concept of repeating the same techniques each day of the week is very beneficial. Honest the best part for me is the encouragement the Tony gives. It really helps to keep me motivated to comeback for more.

My first impression is that I'm glad I signed up. The early lessons are challenging but I certainly know a lot more than I did a week ago! I'm looking forward to continuing the daily routine.

Made it through my first week, and learned a lot. My fingers are a bit sore and my picking hand has a bit of trouble talking to my fretting hand. At 63, I'm really an old dog learning a new trick but its been fun. I play each evening for about a half hour. I love the early morning emails. Tony's style is positive and encouraging. Guitar is something I've always wanted to learn and Im glad I made the commitment to join. Best wishes to all you guitar players.
